Love it
I've owned my truck for over 8 years and I love it. It was originally purchased because we have a large family and needed seating for all of us in one vehicle. The Durango gave us that. I enjoy the roominess, there is leg room for all. It is a solid vehicle and I do not fear being on high traffic areas, worrying that I won't be seen by others. With basic maintenance, the Durango has taken me across three states on numerous occasions. Having a horse, I love the hauling ability of this vehicle, it's rare to feel the pull of the horse trailer, even on an uphill. I've also towed a vehicle on a trailer across four states. The Durango has been my all around vehicle, for family, work and pleasure. The only thing that I do not enjoy is the amount of gas it uses when hauling. However this is a sacrifice I'm willing to make for all it provides.

Good looking SUV
My first new car. I was looking between Chevy Tahoe and Dodge Durango.
The looks of this car were so much more appealing.
The interior design is very nice and appealing.
We did not get the big V8, rather went with the smaller V6.
But I am very happy and surprised how much power this car has.

Plenty of Room
My Dodge Durango is a good SUV when it comes to having plenty of space. There is 3rd seating so everyone has a seat but I would not want to put any adults in the 3rd row due to the leg space. When you lay down all the seats you can carry just about anything from 4x8 sheets of plywood or lots of boxes when moving. The Durango does have a bad blind spot just to the left of the driver and you have to move your body to see around it but its not something you can't get used to. The gas mileage is not great but its not bad overall. The take offs are slow and it takes a lot to get it to stop but it drives like a dream and it has a very smooth ride. The cost for keeping up the car has been very low and I have only had one major problem, the engine went out in it at around 89k miles. I had to buy a rebuilt motor to put into it but since then everything else has been fine. The motor went out due to the oil pump not working correctly and no warning lights came on to let me know about the pressure. If there is one thing I can say about the Durango, I feel very safe in it.
