The Mazda 3 is a fantastic sporty looking car that has great gadgets, a sturdy sleek build, great fuel economy, and fantastic handling. I'd recommend it to anyone on a middle class budget and I think its performance to cost ratio is unbeatable. I got the hatchback model and it is worth it for all the extra trunk space you will gain. My only real complaints are the lack of automatic headlights, but they at least turn off automatically if you leave them on. I'm also used to a little more pick up and speed on my cars but I've gotten used to the overall feel of the car and feel very safe driving it.
Story
Driving up to my first day of college and getting comments on my cool new car
Pros
It has great tech features inside and really looks sporty for a car in its price range. It handles just as well as my old Infiniti and the car feels well built and sturdy. I can also drive far without getting gas.
Cons
The car could have a bit more horsepower and the lack of automatic lights is a little bit of a bummer.

I received my 2010 Mazda 3 as a present for my college graduation. After much research, my dad and I picked this car for its fuel efficiency, easy handling, and exterior/interior appearance. After eight years and about 100,000 miles, I am still very happy with my Mazda 3. First of all, it is a very easy car to drive. The turn radius and handling is superb. For my purposes, the four-cylinder engine provides great gas mileage, about 35-30 mpg highway. I have not had to have any maintenance other than the routine like changing the brake pads since owning it. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, the reliable dashboard lights have been really helpful, like the low tire pressure light that alerts me to check my tires. The inside of the car is comfortable, maybe a bit small for some ... (more)
Story
When I first got it, just driving it around with my boyfriend, listening to music on the Bluetooth.
Pros
Best thing about it is the reliability--have never had to service any serious issues. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth.
Cons
The most negative feature is that it is a very small car. Probably wouldn't be comfortable for a family car or for people who do frequent long drives/road trips.

Very fast service. The people there are nice. They provide you with a ride if you are leaving your car there overnight. Very cheap considering everywhere else. The people there know what they are doing.
