Overall, the MINI is a fun car to drive. Super low to the ground and the wide wheel base make it a kick to drive in town. Amazing acceleration (especially with a manual transmission) and high speed makes it fun to drive on freeways and highways. Overall though, for my situation, the amount of maintenance it needs and how much that maintenance costs takes precedence over the driving experience. If you are a "car person," it's likely that the extra work and care one needs to put in would not deter you, but for someone with very little mechanical background, it was just a hassle.

This is a great car it was like driving a bullet, it just looks great and aerodynamic. This car really performed great I had it for over 4 years and this car never really gave me any problems and it was one of the funnest cars that I have ever drove. This car is perfect for driving in roads with lots of turns. It is a really fun car.
