The car has been a reliable vehicle remaining within regular oil changes, new tires and some spark plugs. The car even after 120,000 miles has a very sturdy life ahead of it. The fuel economy has remained the same over the years and various aspects inside the car has remained usable and functioning. As a woodworker I have been able to fold down the back seats and put numerous pieces of furniture into the back of the car.
Story
Driving across the country from NY to CA using on a few tanks of gas was a really amazing feature of this car.
Pros
Fuel economy, comfort, durability of parts inside the car.
Cons
The paint seems to chip easily from flying debris hitting it. The upholstery in vehicle stains easily.

The Toyota Prius is better than I expected. I get 45-50 MPG and I am really happy about that.. It has really nice space in the car, even the back seat has enough space for a tall or large person. Putting the back seat down I have fit very large items in the car. I also really like the hidden compartment above the spare tire. I have driven this car on many road trips and it has driven smoothly, great A/C and I have always felt safe. One aspect that I totally dislike is the front bumper. It is too low and frequently scrapes on the ground when pulling into driveways. At times I feel the audio quality is not very good. I cant reach the radio knobs when I am in the passenger seat. Overall it is a really nice car.
Story
I have driven cross country several times with my family and my dogs. The best time I had was driving through remote Nevada on my way to Utah. It was so beautiful and amazing. I pulled over several times to dirt roads that led to nowhere and just spent time in the quiet and remote parts of the country. My dogs loved being in the open space and jumping out of the car for a run.
Pros
The gas mileage is the best thing about the Prius. The seat and space for leg room is really good. I am able to fit large items in the back when needed.
Cons
The front bumper is the most annoying thing about the Prius. The set up of the audio and knobs for the panel are inconvenient.
