My Pontiac G6 was the second car I owned, and I bought it used. It was a great little car, and fun to drive. It was sporty, and got me where I needed to go. I had the four door because I wanted the extra space for passengers. It was very reliable and got really good gas mileage. I never had any issues with it, and I liked it that the back windows could roll all the way down without the child safety precaution of only allowing them to go part way. I also liked how big the trunk was, it could hold a lot, although the opening was a little small. There was an odd thing that started happening, but it might have been because the first year I had it I lived on a dirt road. The back doors would either stay locked, or unlocked, what ever you did manually. The key FOB didn't seem to work on them... (more)
Story
The car was fun, and felt sporty, even on the inside. Because of it being low to the ground it made you feel like you were going faster than you were, which was kind of nice and kept me from speeding often. I have a lot of fond memories in my G6 with my daughter, who loved driving with the windows down and the music loud.
Pros
I really liked the sound system, and that the back windows rolled all the way down. I also liked the good gas mileage and that you could check and see your average MPG. The trunk was also nice and spacious, and I could pack a lot of stuff in there.
Cons
The back doors not working properly did become a nuisance, especially when I had other people riding with me.

2008 Pontiac G6 - My car is fast, efficient and sexy.

My car is a 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP. I bought my car used but from a reputable dealer. It's a V6 and has nice get up and go on the highway. It has four leather heated seats which can be adjusted electronically. The vehicle rides and maneuvers well. I like the extra storage in the trunk with the option of folding down the back seat to accommodate long items that I would need to transport. The car has had a few minor electrical things go wrong, which I have had to fix. There are way more gauges and displays than I would like personally. It's a little over the top. The sunroof does not go all the way back, and I feel that it takes some upkeep to maintain that function. I don't have time for things like that. The vehicle itself is a nice-looking car. I got it in black, and it has a little fin ... (more)
Story
I enjoyed opening the sunroof on summer nights and gazing up at the stars. I took it to the drive-in, and it was perfectly comfortable to sit in.
Pros
It has a nice sporty look. I love the heated seats. It handles the road very well.
Cons
It really has way too many electrical displays on the dash. It reminds me of a space ship...too bright! I'm not excited at all about the glitchy, stock radio.
