It's a really, really cool car. I've owned a Genesis Coupe right before I bought the BRZ. I'm not going to say it's better than the Genesis Coupe, because they are not really comparable to me. The BRZ is a whole different beast. The BRZ doesn't have the power the Genesis might have, but it has so much more to offer. It's handles amazingly well. It might have the best handling in any car I've ever driven. The BRZ is light and fun to drive. The Genesis might have more power, but it feels very heavy in corners. It's an amazing car you have to drive to feel the experience.
Story
When I first bought the car, it was fairly new. I went to a car meet and it was the first time most of the people there have ever seen one in person. I've gotten so many compliments that night alone, it just felt so amazing.
Pros
The BRZ is very light and handles well. It's good on gas because it's a 4 cylinder engine and is light. The transmission is one of the best I've tried. It goes soooo smoothly in and out of gears. The clutch feels good. What more can you ask for in a daily driver? Shifting gears is smooth. It handles very well around corners and on ramps. It's light and gets very good MPG.
Cons
A con I could say is I wish it had more power. Adding a bigger engine or turbo might throw off the perfect balance it has, so it's not really worth it. I'd much rather have the handling instead of just some heavy clunker with a big engine.

Overall, the BRZ is a well-made and nicely constructed car - but be careful if you need some practicality in your life. If you all you need is to get from point A to point B and have some fun along the way, this may be a car for you, with its midrange price point.
Story
The first weekend I got the car, I took it on a road-trip down the highway to Portland. Since the car was brand new at the time (and a new model), a bunch of people would stare over at us as we passed them in a nice looking car - which is a good feeling considering the reasonable price.
Pros
Being a Subaru, it has nice build quality, and everything from the seats to the visual appeal is great. The engine has enough punch to have some fun, so you'll be able to get places in style. The car fits nicely into tight city parking spaces. The ride quality is pretty good, if a little noisy on the inside. The speakers sound good, so you can have fun while cruising down the highway. The premium model includes heated seats and dual climate control, making everyone comfortable no matter the temperature. The locking system makes it impossible to lock yourself out.
Cons
The small insides of the car aren't great for being social or transporting more than one or maybe two other people. It's also not great for transporting a lot of items due to the overall compact size. The CD player and GPS system interface is a bit clunky and un-intuitive, and sometimes it just plain doesn't load the music correctly.
