The Subaru BRZ hyper blue is a limited edition coupe -- only 500 of this model exists. That was one of the first draws of buying this vehicle for me. From the bright blue exterior to the black alacantara seats and black leather with light blue trimming, this car is a real beauty. Although the car only has 200 horsepower, torque and speed is not really what the car is about. Its real appeal is its ability to drift at low speeds. It is really a great entry sports car for any car enthusiast.
Story
When I first got the car, any time I passed by another Subaru driver, they would wave or give me a thumbs up. And even now, anytime I drive up next to another BRZ, they'll wave and smile.
Pros
The car is 1 of 500 made. So it feels like you're in an exclusive club just owning it. It's also one-of-a-kind in the interior. Usually other BRZ trimming is black and red, but this car comes with black and blue. Putting aesthetics aside, the performance of the car is also worth mentioning. Aspects such as the sport suspension, seating position, and snappy clutch gives you the experience of being in a race car. The driver's perspective is akin to that of a fishbowl. There is a lot of visibility in the BRZ despite it being a small coupe.
Cons
The car is a small coupe which makes it extremely impractical for anyone who wants more than a fun drive with two or less people. Costco runs are nearly impossible, and you can never really carpool with people. Also, the radio system (Starlink) sucks.

I could not love this car more! It's sleek, low to the ground and takes curves like a real pro. It's sporty, but very budget friendly which makes it perfect for drivers who are just branching out into sportier territories. The car accelerates nicely with a lovely engine sound. The interior and the leather seats have held up well, and the car still looks new. The car is surprisingly comfortable, and I've had no major comfort issues during multi-day road trips of 8-10 hours/day. I love the comfort of keyless entry and start button, using a physical key to start a car is so 2000.
Story
Apparently, there's an unofficial insider club for BRZ owners, because other drivers with the same car are always keen to nod or hold up a peace sign as we drive next to one another.
Pros
The design. This car is sharp and will get you attention as you cruise down the streets. The car's body is so low to the ground it makes for a strong sense of connection and grounding as you maneuver the car through quick turns. A minor but great detail is the heated seats; it was priceless during a winter road trip to Canada.
Cons
If I have to say something, I'd say that now after a few years, I wish the car had even more power. But for the price, it is definitely powerful enough.
