We bought our Toyota Sienna mini van used at a Toyota dealership in 2005. At the time, it had 52,000 miles on it. We have now owned it for 11 years, and it has almost 300,000 miles on it. Toyota engines are tough, and ours has survived several overlooked oil changes and numerous vacations, including trips from North Carolina to Florida. We were looking for a van because at the time we had twin 4 year olds and another on the way. We love that the van seats up to 7 people, and it has allowed our family to grow into it comfortably. Now, with 4 daughters, we still ride with plenty of room. The trunk area has plenty of space for all of our luggage for when we travel, and there is a roof rack for when we bring the boogie boards and beach chairs to the coast. We love the automatic passenger s... (more)
Story
We love taking our Toyota Sienna minivan to fireworks shows. We pull into a parking space facing away from the show and open the trunk and kids will pile into the trunk space to watch the show.
Pros
My favorite features of the Toyota Sienna are that it seats up to 7 people, that it has a passenger side automatic door, that it has a dependable engine, it has a roomy trunk area, and it is a very low maintenance vehicle.
Cons
The top negative things for me are all after thoughts - they are not things I was unhappy with, but features I came to wish my van had. I would love seating for up to 8 people (a bench seat across the middle row instead of 2 bucket seats), I would love automatic sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle, and I would love that those doors had windows that roll down.

2015 Toyota Sienna - Great design and performance.

For a minivan, this is one of the best you can find. The car has great gas mileage of 25+ miles/gallon and has not once had an issue in the year that I've owned it. It has a rear-view camera, XM radio, a GPS and multiple apps like Pandora for you to use. Bluetooth connectivity for the phone is fantastic and the seats are heated. My favorite part is the blind sight monitor; it flashes when there's someone in the lane next to you that you can't see. It also lets you know if someone is driving by you or in the way as you back up; it's definitely saved me from some damage. The space is the car is fantastic; my fiancé had knee surgery and couldn't bend his knee at all, and he was able to sit comfortably in the front seat as a 6'3" man. Plus, the seats are adjustable by height, tilt, lumbar,... (more)
Story
I drove to Grand Teton National Park with my fiancé and we camped in the back of the car with a full-sized mattress. Was comfortable and a lot of fun!
Pros
Blind sight monitor. Large windshield. Back up camera. Bluetooth. GPS. Applications. Adjustable seats. Sunroof. Blu-Ray DVD player.
Cons
Not the greatest turn radius. Not the most fuel efficient, but good for a minivan. White exterior shows dirt. Seats are heavy. Only some have AWD.

The dealers there were very respectful and they were not pushing or pressuring me into buy a car. The whole car buying experience was a very smooth process. When I decided to buy the car I could tell that they were trying their best to quickly get all the paperwork done. Their prices and negotiations were also very competitive in the area, I'm sure I got a great deal.
