The Toyota Sienna is a fine and good car. I like the various things about it like engine power, color, seats and the air conditioning. But it's old and I would so very much like to have a newer one. Also, I would prefer more audio features and automatic doors.
Story
I had my family going fishing once. We put all of our stuff in the back and forgot the fishing rods. We left and all the way there we remembered that we forgot the most important thing ha-ha... We had to go back all the way to get them, but it was too late anyway.
Pros
The experience has been good. The vehicle has been a great choice for my family, it's lasted a long time with minimal issues despite the many miles I've put on it, and I foresee many miles to come. It accommodated my family and best of all the models we looked at. I like the amount of storage/trunk space. I like the automatic doors and keyless entry the best, also the four-wheel drive has been very helpful at times. The Toyota was one of the only models that came in black. I also think it is the only minivan that is available in 4wd. But I would make darker interior available, the only col... (more)
Cons
The head unit has not worked right. The head unit reboots multiple times while I am driving it. Lots of maintenance required on batteries and tires eventually.

This car was purchased for a growing family - ultimately ending up with four children - many in booster or car seats at the same time and there was plenty of room. The car rides smoothly even after so many years and personally I think it has many more years to go. We have been hard on this car. Like I said, four children and add one dog who lives to ride in the car with his head out the window. The battery has been replaced a few times, the timing belt at about 100,000 miles and the brakes replaced a few times. We took this camping many times and often one or two children opted to sleep in the spacious car rather than the tent.
Story
The first time we went to Disneyland. It was a great trip. left so early in the morning that the kids were still asleep in the car. I watched the sun come up and very glad to have a great family car for a great trip.
Pros
Plenty of room for the family. Each child could comfortable sit in a window seat with a seat free seat in between them. Many safety features, including child-proof doors and windows. The nice big back window provides great vision. There are an abundance of cup holders.
Cons
These are big cars and built before the advent of back-up cameras - that would have been a great feature. The passenger side sliding door is electric but the driver side back door nor is the lift gate - that would have been a nice feature. The tire pressure light needs to be reset after every tire fill in order to function well. We always forget to do that so the light pops on.

The dealership was very open to negotiate with price. They were friendly and not overly aggressive. They made a mistake when quoting us about a van in inventory over the phone and we drove nearly 2.5 hours to buy it, but rectified the issue before we got there.
