The Toyota Yaris is a car that is not to be taken lightly. This car has what it takes to get you places without paying too much. It is a car that is reliable and has gas mileage that will save you money. The car is built well and can suffice even for long trips because of the comfort. The interior has held up very well and still looks very new for this age. A definite recommend for those looking for a car without all the monetary hassles.
Story
This car can find you places to park where others cannot. When looking for inexpensive parking, this car can outmaneuver almost any other car due to its size and maneuverability. That is one reason why I like this car because I can get to almost anywhere and never have to worry about a place to park. I can squeeze into any reasonable space and be there without a hassle at all.
Pros
The advantages of having a Yaris is that it is very roomy and comfortable in both the front and the back. There is plenty of head and leg room for long trips. I like the fact that the Yaris can even drive on E85 fuel (an alternative to gasoline) to help the environment. The miles per gallon is also a plus as it can drive far without having to fill up frequently.
Cons
The improved gas mileage is due to the lightness of the car. The car feels light when driving and can provide some challenges when driving at high speeds. It is a car mainly used for taking one from point A to point B. The car could have more technology, but it will suffice for a car this age. When the driver makes these necessary adjustments, the Yaris is still a good and practical car.

2008 Toyota Yaris - Love it.

I love my car for many reasons. I find that it has been really reliable -- despite driving long distances. The perfect road trip car. The seats are super comfortable when driving. It also drives really smoothly, and acceleration feels effortless. I like how compact it is which contributes to maneuverability and makes parking super easy. I've been rear ended twice in this car, and both times there was minimal damage -- which I contribute to the great construction of the car. I purchased this car brand new in 2008, and it has held up exceptionally well. I strongly believe I will be able to drive this car beyond 300,000 miles.
Story
My boyfriend and I often drive to visit his family about 40 minutes away, and we always have the best conversations on our way there. It sounds minor, but sharing that time together is really important to me.
Pros
I like that this car has superior highway and street mileage compared to most non-electric vehicles. I also like the comfort and ease of driving it. I used to drive a much larger car, so its compact size is also a big pro for me -- especially living in L.A. which has mostly tiny parking spaces and hard to maneuver streets.
Cons
Although a minor complaint, one of the biggest cons for me is the fact that the cup holders are directly in front of the side air vents. If I put a drink in the cup holder, it then blocks that air vent which is not ideal on a hot day. I find that the trunk is a good size but not quite wide enough for me to move a mattress which was possible in my previous car.
