This car is fantastic. With the turbo model it has enough push to surprise even fans of muscle cars! Don't let the compact size of the hatchback model fool you - this car is huge inside. Transports up to 5 people plus groceries or luggage. Decent fuel economy on the turbo model, great fuel economy on non-turbo. Love the styling. Beautiful interior. Great accessories. And the price is definitely workable! I was surprised to find a Chevy at such a good deal. Always gets compliments in my neighborhood. Love it. Made me a fan of Chevy for life!
Story
Occasionally I will pick up people from the nearby beach (San Diego). I always laugh when I have passengers attempting to enter the back seats. The door handle is higher up than on a standard sedan model, and the back seat passengers always have trouble finding it! Makes for a good laugh. But everyone loves this car, constant compliments
Pros
Love the interior, love the sound system. I run my entire business out of this car - a traveling salon! Even though it is a hatchback, I fit all of my necessary tools, including a sink, a salon chair, several 5-gallon containers & a huge tool kit.
Cons
The gas mileage is less than expected. In less than a year my mileage was up to 30 miles per gallon. But at the dealership they assured me it would rise to 40miles per gallon within a year... Other than that I can't complain!

A person's first car needs to be cheap but still good, and this car is just that. While old drivers might feel it is not as powerful as a more expensive car, it is plenty fast for a new driver. The gas mileage is decent as well.
Story
Moving out to college I was able to fit a surprisingly large amount of stuff in my car. I thought it would take more then one trip but I was able to get it in a single trip.
Pros
The gas mileage is pretty decent and the version of the car with the hatchback is very nice to be able to get a lot of stuff in an otherwise small car. And being small makes it easy to fit in parking spaces, but it still has 4 plus the hatch doors and 5 seats unlike other similar cars.
Cons
Some people may find the gas tank a bit small at around 10 gallons and it may be a bit weak for them, but it isn't under powered. The car for some reason doesn't have a meter for the temperature of the engine.
