I've got around 55,000 miles on my Malibu and so far have been pleased with it. I've heard that Chevys tend to fall apart and require massive repairs, but all I've had to shell out big money for so far is replacing a defective airbag sensor. Granted, that was expensive - around $1400 - but that's the only significant repair I've had to foot the bill for in my 3 years of owning the car. I am concerned, though, that as the car gets more miles on it I'll start having to pay for more big repairs...

My car gets decent gas mileage and has had very few issues since I acquired it three years ago. It has pretty decent power for a 4-cylinder, runs relatively quietly, and has a pretty good sound system. The only major repair I've had to pay for was an airbag sensor that petered out--that cost around $1,200. Outside of that, all other maintenance has been routine.
