The Volkswagen Beetle, while old, is a classic model and representation of good German engineering. Unlike most modern cars, there is very little plastic, and it speaks to the quality of the vehicle. I like that when I start the car, I can hear the engine running and the car vibrating slightly; most modern cars attempt to muffle the owner from the driving experience, and that is not so with this car. The car performs with excellent while driving in the snow or the rain because the rear mounted engine puts the weight in the back of the car providing A+ handling to the driver. The gas mileage is superb, though the tank could be a bit larger.
