The Honda Fit is small, but has enough room to comfortably fit enough people, making it great for parking and getting around town. The gas mileage is great, getting 35+ on average. I've had no mechanical issues, unlike other cars I've had. The only issue I've run into is an inability to change the tires myself, given the shield around the bolts. I have run into issues getting it up to speed getting onto the freeway, and sometimes it will have trouble accelerating on inclines. One major concern I have (and with a lot of other modern vehicles) is how difficult they are to perform regular maintenance on without going to a dealership. Changing the oil and checking fluids is impossible because of the cover that is attached to the engine. That being said, it is a very smart car. Tire pressur... (more)
Story
Three female exchange students from France, my brother, and myself, all piled into this car and drove to Yosemite. It was a bit claustrophobic, but none of us were complaining (because French girls). It turned out to be one of the best trips I've ever taken, and we did it again a few months later.
Pros
It's small, reliable, great on gas mileage, and easy to drive. The features are all intuitive, making learning some of the display controls very easy.
Cons
Some of the information I would like to know is not displayed on the dashboard, like temperature and distance till empty. Maintenance and repairs are all done at a dealership, which is a challenge for someone who enjoys engine mechanics (and doesn't have a degree in computer science). Being a small car, it can run into some issues with torque, which are not specific to its make or model.

I have had this vehicle for 2 years. It even saved my life. I was in a horrible car accident where I was hit on the drivers side on the freeway. Had it not been for the new car, I could have died. This car is great on gas, runs great, & has good mileage. The Honda fit is a very fun compact car. It is very easy to drive. It has great cruise control & is a very comfortable little car. The tires are very strong and reliable. I hardly ever have to change the wiper blades, they are very sturdy and do a good job when it's raining. A feature I really enjoy is the fact that I can fold the side view mirrors in. It makes it a lot easier when squeezing into a small space to be able to close your mirror so it does not hit anything. The seats are very comfortable & the seat belts very sturdy and re... (more)
Story
I was in a horrible accident on the freeway. I was hit on the drivers side of my car and was almost killed. I was told by the police had it not been for my new car I would have probably been dead. I know its not a fun story. But I do believe fully that the car did in fact save my life. So I feel that's a good thing.
Pros
Good mileage easy to drive very safe to drive side view mirrors fold in
Cons
Tires take a lot of wear air conditioning takes a while to kick in

The dealership is staffed by incredibly helpful people. After graduating college and landing a well-paying job, I decided it was time to get a new car, as I had been driving a 2003 Accord until then and it was due to die. You know, because of college stuff. Anyway, I was wondering where to go and then my parents said Honda of Pasadena. I remember getting our Accord then which was passed down to me, I remember us getting other cars from there over the years. That was until us children grew older and my parents decided it was then safe to buy expensive luxury cars. You know, kids will be kids and destroy everything. . . Anyway, the staff made me feel welcome and were very considerate to help me. They didn't care about getting their commission, they just wanted to help a guy out.
