2004 Toyota Matrix - Acceptable
I purchased this vehicle used at a car auction. The first thing I liked about the vehicle was its price. I was able to win it for four thousand. There were a few repairs that had to be made, but after everything that needed to be fixed was fixed, my total cost was six thousand. A dislike for this car is its look. I do not like hatchback vehicles. Another dislike is the audio system that came instilled with the car. The CD player had to be replaced, since there was not one in it. That could have been due to it being auctioned.
Story
There is a piece of road that quickly goes up than down. It always felt like I was going on a roller coaster ride.
Pros
A pro for this car would have to be its tank size. It holds 13.2 gallons and a nice feature is that the gas light becomes lit when there is two gallons left instead of one. Another pro is trunk space. Large space for day-to-day use. If I need more space, the back seats fold down. Another pro is that it doesn't use synthetic oil. So when I have to get an oil change, I'm only paying 25 dollars instead of 80 dollars.
Cons
A con for this vehicle is its acceleration. Don't know if it has always been like that or because I got it at an auction, but its acceleration has always been a problem. It does not take hills very well if I have to start at low speeds. Another con was the driver side seat belt did not stretch like any of the other seat belts.
2006 Toyota Matrix - I like this car a lot
I like the look of this car a lot. I got it in white with black rims and think the contrast works very nicely with the body shape. It handles pretty well and the engine has given me no problems. The only problem with it I have encountered is the rear right tire wears faster than the rest, and it effects the handling. It gets decent gas mileage for being a somewhat utility car. It's a very fun car to drive. It turns sharply and accelerates as well as anything comparable. The interior is comfortable as well, though I would prefer it slightly bigger, or at least a higher roof. The stock speakers are pretty decent. I've never had the desire to replace them.
Story
This is the car my fiance and I drove to Newport beach with one summer. It was one of the best vacations we ever had and I remember it being a great road trip in that car.
Pros
I feel very safe and in control of this car when I drive it. It brakes very easily and makes me feel safer in case of an emergency.
Cons
The windshield wipers never worked too well though. The trunk space is nice for small grocery trips and moving small to medium objects. I would prefer it to have a bigger trunk though like a GM or Chevy similar model car would.

2006 Toyota Camry - Livermore Toyota
I thought that the staff were helpful in helping my buddy and I pick out a used vehicle. People were friendly. I just hope that the car holds up for a few years.
2009 Toyota Corolla - Carmax Buena Park
They were very friendly and down to earth without being fake. They made it seem like they were more about finding the right car, not just selling me a car. There was very little pressure.
