It's not the fastest, and actually it's pretty gutless. But I guess I knew it would be gutless--I wanted a truck that would get decent gas mileage, so I went looking for a 4-cylinder. The manual transmission is what gets me up hills. I can't imagine what it's like in an automatic! But it runs great, it's SO inexpensive to fix and maintain, it's not not-fun to drive, and it is so convenient, having a truck.
Story
I don't dread moving. I can buy furniture on a whim! The drive-in theater is SO FUN. Car camping is a breeze--just throw some blankets and pillows back there, and poof! You've got a bed with a view.
Pros
The price for a reliable vehicle, the fact that it's a truck, the dependability of a Toyota.
Cons
It's slow, it's slow to accelerate, it huffs and puffs on hills, it doesn't handle well without a load in the back (which it rarely has), the gas mileage is only good for a truck--it's pretty terrible for a vehicle.

I purchased my 2006 Toyota Tacoma a few years ago. I love how the truck looks and how it drives. It came with a nice tool box, a spray bed liner, and aggressive tires, compliments of the previous owner. I get lots of compliments on the truck when I'm out and about. I primarily drive it to work and get around 18 mpg. I wish the truck was four-wheel drive, but so far, I haven't had any trouble getting around in the woods with the two-wheel drive.
Story
I took my family fishing in the truck a few months ago. We had a great time putting the boat in the back and then pulling it out and into the creek. I love having a truck because it lets us get outside and do things together.
Pros
I do all my own maintenance, and the vehicle is easy to work on. I've changed the oil, the transmission fluid, the leaf springs, and the brakes. I didn't have any trouble doing any of that, and the parts were affordable and good quality. I use the truck as a truck, not as a car. I hunt and fish with it. I haul tools with it. I take it down dirt roads and through the woods. I've been completely satisfied with how it's holding up and the usefulness of the vehicle. I appreciate the quality that Toyota puts into their vehicles, and I'm very satisfied with my truck.
Cons
I replaced the radio because I didn't like the quality of the original one. I wish the seats were a little more comfortable, but some of that may be due to the age of the vehicle, and the padding in the seats just being worn out.

I chose this dealership because of the customer service and knowledge of the staff. I went to another dealership and anytime I asked a question about the vehicle options, they would reply with "that's a parts question" instead of trying to find the answer for me. Another dealership wouldn't even send a salesman outside - we had to hunt for one.

I purchased a new 2012 Toyota Camry SE from Valdosta Toyota. It was a very smooth car buying experience. Everything get explained to you in detail and any questions you have they will answer them for you. They don't try to con you or pressure into something that doesn't fit you or your budget. Nice clean and professional people.
