I am writing a review on the 2000 BMW Z3 convertible with a manual transmission. It has a five-speed transmission, and the color in my version is red with a tan cloth top. This car has been so much fun to drive. When the transmission is working smoothly, it drives like a dream. Some of what I like about this car is that it is low off the ground, it looks great, itÕs easy to take care of, and it drives like a sports car. This was a car that I learned how to drive manual on, and it is incredibly easy to shift. Even though it is a luxury make, it has not been incredibly expensive to maintain. Any beginner or advance stick-driver will appreciate how easy it is. There are a few drawbacks, though, to this car. It is older, so it does not accommodate a smart phone to plug into the radio. Story
I remember learning to drive stick in an empty parking lot in front a cop. I warned him that that was what I was doing, and I think he laughed.
Pros
Easy to clean, easy to drive and looks great.
Cons
Roof leaks and first gear is sticky.

This is my second BMW Z3, and I really enjoy this car. It is very cute looking and fun to drive. I love being able to put the top down and drive around with my husband on good days. For an older car, it gets good mileage, and I trust BMW for a reliable and well-designed car.
Story
I love driving in nice spring weather with the top down, the radio up and my husband by my side.
Pros
The top positive things about this car are its appearance and its fun driving. It handles well and looks good doing it. Also, as a used car it is pretty cheap. A new Z car is at least $80K, but my used one with low mileage cost me $12 K. I think when you buy luxury brand vehicles, you can get a really good deal on an older used ones.
Cons
There are definitely cons to this car. Most notably is that it is a two seater. I had this as an exclusive car for a while, but my newer car is a third car and not used on a daily basis. That said it does have a rather roomy trunk for its size. Also, this car is a rear-wheel drive, which is nice for performance but makes it difficult to drive in the snow. Also, since it is an older car, it does not have a lot of the luxury and safety features newer cars come standard with. However, it has more features than an average car of its time would have
