I love my Buick Park Avenue, and I am sad that they are no longer made. I inherited the car from my father and it has been a wonderful vehicle for me. My car now has over 200,000 miles on it and is still going. I've had to make a couple costly repairs, but they were all worth it. My friends call it my "luxury car" because it feels so high quality when you're riding in it. The shocks and suspension system make for a really smooth ride, and the leather interior feels high class. It's also a very roomy car, making you feel like you're riding in style. The heated seats are an added bonus that just make it feel even more luxurious. One of the best features of this car is the heads up display that is great for highway and interstate driving. It will display your current speed on the windshie... (more)
Story
When first moving to this area my husband and I went to a lot of garage sales to find cheap and inexpensive furniture. At one sale we found a cabinet/TV stand that was in great shape for a really good price. We tried to get ahold of any friends that might have a truck to come move it for us, but we had no luck. I kept suggesting to my husband that I was pretty sure we could fit it in the backs... (more)

I love the bronze color and the chrome trim and grill of my Buick Park Avenue. The luxury of the car can be seen and felt when you ride in it. The leather seats have held up well over the years, and the paint has stayed true to color, which says a lot about quality. It has stood up against the blistering California desert heat where I live.
Story
I drove across the country from the west to the east coast with my daughter. It took us six days, and we stopped and visited friends along the way. We spent quite a bit of time sitting in construction traffic, but it was a comfortable ride for both of us.
Pros
I loved all the programmable features on my Buick Park Avenue. I can set my car to remember my seat and mirror adjustments with one push of a button. I also loved the automatic rear view mirror. I don't see well at night, and being blinded by headlights is a huge problem for me, so the self-dimming feature makes driving at night much safer and comfortable for me.
Cons
The gas mileage is very indicative of the age of the car. Fuel efficiency standards have improved a lot over the last 15 years, and 20 miles to the gallon is not adequate for a car anymore. I am losing a lot of power when I am running the air conditioning, especially when climbing up the steep mountains in my area.
