I love the vehicle because it can travel through small floods with ease, the car is comfortable, and relaxing to sit in, good seats for people who have back issues, and drives very smooth. Over the 3 years that I've had it, I've only had brake issues one time but was able to get that fixed with ease, the car is very easy to maintain and does not cost a lot of money to do so. The only issue that I have had with it is that the lighter area/phone charger does not work but that is fine because I do not need to use a cell phone while driving anyways, this vehicle is great to use for travel, as well as shopping, has great space for groceries and/or other items bought from a store, can hold a bicycle in the back trunk space area as well as other objects of similar size.
Story
Driving through a flood to get home
Pros
Comfortable to sit in great fuel mileage easy to maintain great trunk space great for travel seats are good for people who suffer from back pain can travel through small floods easy to tune radio / clock
Cons
Lighter area/phone charger does not work

Fuel economy for my Rendezvous is so so. It normally averages around 28mpg. Excellent sound system is comfortable to drive, rides well. Front wheel drive is reliable and safe on icy and snowy roads. We have not had any major problems with this vehicle and it has 134,000 miles on it. There have been a few electronic problems like the rear hatch unlocking at any given moment. Overall it has been a great vehicle.
Story
We retired and put this vehicle on a tow dolly and drug it across the entire United States.
Pros
The sound system the sunroof and A/C works well which is a necessity since we live in SE AZ.
Cons
Electronics in this vehicle could be better. Have had some problems.

This vehicle is just the right size for me. I can carry 4x8 sheets of lumber (just have to use a bungee cord on the hatch. I can carry a boat load of kids with three rows of seats, yet it's still small enough to get pretty good gas mileage. I will say, as much as I laughed at other reviews when they said the side mirrors are too big... they genuinely are too big. I have nearly missed cars that were at a 4 way intersection several times because they were actually in the way. I know... I laughed, too. But anyone with this car should be aware so that you don't actually miss another vehicle and have an accident. It has great clearance underneath, so getting through the snow is a breeze. Along with the traction control, it's been a reliable vehicle winter or summer! There's 236,000... (more)
Story
This vehicle has gone here and there and everywhere else. It's picked my son up from the airport several times when he came home from the air force but it's also taken him to cross country and band meets and parts of his class on field trips.
Pros
It's flexible, you can fold down the very back seat for a completely flat surface that's great for everything from groceries to building supplies. You can fold down the middle seats and it's a slightly ramped surface that will still allow you to carry much bigger items and it's wide enough for a 4' wide sheet.
Cons
The mirrors are too big!
