Where do I start? I went from absolutely loving my vehicle one day to being afraid for my life while driving it the next. I recently had to cut back on expenses, so I got rid of my leased vehicle and purchased the Rendezvous with cash off of a gentleman on Craigslist. Within six months I had to change the oil three times, replace the gas gauge and ultimately ended up getting rid of the vehicle after it broke down on me due to the engine overheating. I was traveling to and from my job, which is about 34 miles away, five days a week with no problems at all for the first two and a half months. Then, during the month of January (hands down one of the coldest months in Northeast Pennsylvania), I had gotten two flat tires due to something being wrong with the vehicle's rims. Now mind you, I... (more)
Story
I honestly didn't have the vehicle long enough to make too many memories in it. Although my sister and I did do a thrift store marathon around Christmas time with it and the two of us had a lot of fun and plenty of room for all of our packages.
Pros
The seating in the vehicle was very comfortable and roomy, and the vehicle did get really good gas mileage.
Cons
It needed to have the oil changed WAY too much and the gas gauge decided to work one day and then not the next.

Upon researching and test driving this vehicle, I found it had a good style and handled well. It is a small SUV that included bucket seats in the middle row and an option for a third-row seat. It sits high which allows for good travel in snow and provided a good vehicle for our small family.
Story
There isn't much, but I do remember driving in circles in a store parking lot to set the compass shortly after we bought it. That was kind of interesting.
Pros
What I liked the most about this car was its overall style. It allowed us to travel pretty easily in the snow and yet was not extremely bulky. It also had pretty good gas mileage and low maintenance cost overall.
Cons
Unfortunately, the negatives of this vehicle outweighed the positives. To begin, we thought we were purchasing one with All-Wheel Drive, but it does not have that and we were unable to find a replacement. However, it is the overall usefulness of the vehicle that has made it not the best choice for our family. While the bucket seats are nice for adults, they are not very useful for growing families. These seats require that young children (even in car seats) be placed on the outer parts of the vehicle instead of in the middle where it is the safest. The two bucket seats also limit the amoun... 2002 Buick Rendezvous - I really like this car. It is very dependable, lot of space, and is great use for my business. I am an Event Planner and it holds a lot of my material.

My CX perform excellent. I am a freelancer and work as a marketer and event planner. I use it for my business. It allows me to carry a lot of my material around like tables, displays, speakers, etc. The only problem I am running into now is that getting parts can be hard, because this car has been discontinued. I think they stop making it in 2007. So finding parts is hard sometimes, but I end up getting them mostly at salvage yards. But I love the car and that 3rd row seat.
Story
One of the most memorable time in the car was when I was able to take a one day trip to TN and was able to take my mother, father, niece, sisters and others. Thanks to that 3rd row seat and we had so much fun driving up and back in one day. We filled the car to the brim on shopping while we were there. Bags every where.
Pros
This car is getting older. It is a 2002 and I have a lot of miles on it. But it still running great. I keep up the maintenance. Engine and Transmission are in good condition and I get people complimenting me about it. It does not look like a 2002. It look more newer compare to the other cars around that same year. I love the 3rd row seat. It allow me to carry more people in it. When you look from the outside it seem like a mini SUV, and would have never thought a 3rd row seat was capable in this vehicle. Very spacious, too.
Cons
The only negative thing about the car is that Buick doesn't make these parts anymore. The car is discontinued. So it can be hard to find parts. So I find myself shopping around a salvage yards sometime. Also this car has a lot of sensors on it. So they do break and need repairs which can be costly.
