Traded in a Jeep Wrangler for this car, and it was a great decision. Quiet ride, great handling, all in comfort. I needed to be able to go from passenger vehicle to hauling boxes and furniture and everything in between. It functions for me whether I am going to the hardware/lumber store, out buying groceries, or taking my grandkids on an adventure. So much leg room in the back makes it so comfortable for the older teens and making way fewer arguments over cramped quarters. I have hauled stoves, washers, love seats, fencing and very large dogs. For years I was making 800-mile commutes hauling full loads, and this vehicle did that with great fuel economy and in comfort. I have never been disappointed in the ability to haul whatever I decide to move. This is the best bargain hunters dream... (more)
Story
I do a lot of buying and selling on Facebook sale pages, and it always surprises me when the person I am meeting is also driving a Buick Rendezvous.
Pros
Cargo space and versatility of the space. Traction drive. Extra charger plug with access from the front seat and the back seat. Seat clearance, easy to dig out all the things the kids leave behind. Compact sizing, easy to get in and out of parking spots.
Cons
Side view mirrors are sometimes too big. They can block your forward view. This is truly the only thing I dislike about this car.

I usually have to buy a van to accommodate my family size. This time I put my foot down and decided I wanted a vehicle I could be happy to drive and not be spied as a soccer mom on first sight. The Buick Rendezvous has the space of a van but drives like a car. It has all of the bells and whistles that I was looking for, and I would definitely tell anyone who would listen about how awesome it is.
Story
My family of five traveled to Tahquamenon National Park in Michigan's upper peninsula last spring. This trip took us about 6 hours of driving time because we took the scenic route. We stopped at beaches and attractions, and the children didn't argue. So it was amazing.
Pros
This vehicle has plenty of internal space. I am able to split up warring siblings and accommodate a large grocery shopping trip with no problem. There is a DVD/AV system that plays through the vehicle stereo or with headphones for the passengers, so the kids can be easily entertained with a movie or video game.
Cons
The only problem I have with this vehicle is that the mid-row bucket seats are not able to fold down like the back seat does. I have run into instances where my cargo would not fit properly. For example, I was picking up a lawn furniture set and had to make three trips because I couldn't get all of the chairs inside the vehicle.
