Overall I have loved my 2007 Buick Rendezvous. It looks great, drives great and rides great. With a 3rd row seat or fold down for cargo area, there is plenty of storage. For anyone wanting a family friendly and roomy vehicle, this definitely has it all.
Story
My children and I traveled about 6 hours away to pick up a new puppy. On the trip home, my low fuel light came on and I was trying to make it to the location with the good deal on gas...but instead I ran out of gas. A lovely state trooper rescued us by taking my son with him to get a gas can and fuel and gave him the ride of a lifetime!
Pros
It has heated seats, which I absolutely LOVE in the winter and even during the warmer times I will turn them on and it feels good on my back. I love the sunroof as it reminds me of my younger days when I had a convertible. It has a lot of room and a 3rd row seat which has allowed me to carry several people with me. It has been kid friendly, especially since I added a DVD player. We have enjoyed several road trips to the beach and elsewhere.
Cons
There haven't been many cons about this vehicle overall. It doesn't have separate climate controls for the back seat and there aren't any air vents in the back 3rd row area. There is an accessory plug in the front console but it is in the same area where it is convenient to put your change and evidently some loose change got in the plug area and shorted it out. The other accessory plug was in the back of the console in the back seat area and with cords being pulled out it pulled out the accessory plug. Better placement would have been appreciated.

2007 Buick Rendezvous - It's reliable and at 141k miles has never left me stranded.

I have owned the car for five years and am family friends with the previous owner. At 141k miles the car has never left me stranded. It's quite spacious and seats five comfortably. The back seats fold easy enough for a child to figure out. Perhaps the biggest issues involve the environment. I have left it sitting in the driveway for a few winters, and each spring it needs new brakes and rotors. Recently there has been an exhaust manifold leak, which makes it sound like a jet engine and leaks exhaust into the car. I have to crack the window to keep from dying of carbon monoxide. The interior is a bit rubbish as well. The locks and handle on the drive side door have snapped, and I have to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. It drives well and has a smooth ride and ca... (more)
Story
Since it's front-wheel drive, if there is snow, you can do some pretty sweet reverse donuts.
Pros
Lots of space, reliable.
Cons
Cheap interior. It looks like a bruised-up toaster. Not great for impressing people.
