The interior of the car is very spacious. I love the heated leather seats in the winter. The factory radio has both a CD player and tape player, and amplifier in the trunk so for a factory radio it sounds excellent. I really like all the control features that are built in on the steering wheel, like the ability to change the radio station, volume, and temperature. The engine is excellent. The ride is very smooth. I have over 300,000 miles on mine and it is still running perfectly.
Story
I got this car off of a friend and when he took me for a ride in it he wanted to show me how great the motor was and the power that it had. He got it up to 120 mph and was rambling about how great it was. The only thing I was thinking was please God let me live, let us not wreck the car before I can even buy it, and please make him slow down.
Pros
Huge trunk with a net half way back so you can set things in front of it and they will not slide all the way to the back of the trunk. Double visors so you can flip one visor toward the door and still have the other visor in the normal position. Steering wheel controls for radio, temperature and cruise control. Heated seats. Separate driver and passenger temperature controls. Digital panel in the dash that has read outs for tire pressure, oil pressure, oil life (it tells you when it's time to change the oil), gas mileage and estimates how many miles you can travel on the current amoun... (more)
Cons
The only negative thing that I can think of to say about this vehicle is that I have had an issue with the electric windows. The plastic clips they use to hold the window on track tend to bust easily causing the windows to get off track.

2004 Buick Park Avenue - A great car used or new.

This is a nice car for someone shopping for used cars. It is especially nice for parents, as it's roomy and dependable. It's a well built car, and if taken care of, will run for years and years. I've owned mine for over four years, and it is now nearly 14 years old. I've only had minor issues with it so far, and it gets us from point a to point b, which is all I need at the moment.
Story
During my son's first year at school, one of the teachers shouted at me when I was dropping him off that this is a "good-running" car, and he'd owned one for years.
Pros
I like that it's sort of a luxury vehicle. It has power windows and seats/heated seats. I love the heads-up display, The stock speakers are pretty nice, and listening to music in this car is great; sounds good at any volume. I also like how large the trunk is, especially around the holidays. I can fit all of the kids' presents in there with room to spare. The car also looks nice, with leather seats and it's a pretty color.
Cons
It isn't great on gas, but for a larger car and its age, it's not too bad. The issues I have had with it have all been from my own doing; not maintaining the car like I should have been, or normal things that need done on a 14-year-old vehicle.
