We bought this Buick brand new. When we test drove it. It drove well no problems. The dealer said it was good on gas. We have had this car for years now and haven't had any major issues. It's great on gas and we use it daily for work and other purposes. It is roomy and comfortable. It's easy to drive. The only con is of course it doesn't look as great as some more sporty cars but it's a reliable vehicle. I would suggest this car to friends and family. It is a really good car. I like and enjoy driving it around. It drives smoothly and looks okay compared to other vehicles. It is roomy, and the seats feel great after a long day at work. I like that it isn't over the top with gadgets on the dash, but has enough. The ride is smooth, and it is not jumpy when accelerating. I like the short... (more)

Cons
Not the greatest looking car.

The Regal was a great car driving wise, handled exceptionally well for what used to be considered a car geared towards middle-aged consumers and definitely had some pep in the engine. The sound system was more than adequate, and the interior overall was very stylish and comfortable. Loved to drive the vehicle but definitely did not love to own the vehicle. After 80,000 miles, the car began to have many mechanical issues causing me to invest more money than the car was worth to fix it, plus owing money on my loan. Turbo went twice in the span of a year, throttle body went, entire suspension system went and, finally, the engine gave out forcing me into a new vehicle. Solve the reliability issues and you have a winner. Ultimately, I left Buick due to trust with reliability.
Story
Just genuinely enjoyed driving the vehicle with the sunroof open and the stereo blasting.
Pros
Engine HP—Power was good. Handling. Sound System. Stylish. Comfortable. Attractive.
Cons
Reliability and then some. Very pricey to fix.
