2010 Chevrolet Cobalt - The Chevy cobalt was my first car and so far, I love it. It's a black very sporty looking coupe, only 4 cylinders so gas is cheap.

My Chevrolet Cobalt has a great build, I think it looks very sport and has been a great first car. It's only 4 cylinders and has good gas mileage so it's pretty decent at the pump. It can fit 2 people spaciously in the front and 3 can be jammed in the back. The trunk has a lot of space;; I was able to move into my dorm with just one trip, and I had a lot of stuff: mini fridge, a long board, 2 skateboards and 3 large crates. You wouldn't think it can fit that much from just seeing the car. I have had only one problem with the car, that has been well criticized and talked about for this model; I was driving to Miami on the highway and the well known "Ignition Switch" problem caused the car to turn off in the road. There was a recall out for the car but I hadn't taken it in yet. I've neve... (more)
Pros
Very sporty looking, great fuel economy, very spacious.
Cons
Broken Ignition Switch

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt - No bells and whistles, just a great car.

The 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt is a great everyday car. Even though Chevrolet discontinued manufacturing the Cobalt a few years ago, it is still one of the great gems of the Chevrolet lines.
Story
My fondest memory is when my wife an I went to the beach and it started raining really hard. We ran back to the car with our cooler and everything else and just watched videos on my phone while we camped out in the car.
Pros
The Cobalt has a lot of great features that make this a great car. The trunk space is phenomenal. The rear seats fold down to allow for extra trunk space if needed. This car is also good on gas. It holds about 13 gallons and one could ride for about a week and a half on a full tank. The engine compartment under the hood is simple and clean. The interior of the car is spacious and the wood-grain trim along the message center adds nice touch. The car has power windows and power locks along with power side mirror controls. The stereo has CD player and XM radio (for a monthly fee), but is well... (more)
Cons
The Cobalt does have a few negative aspects. The stereo is antiquated and the speakers are not very powerful. There is also no Bluetooth connection to connect to external devices. Even though the back seat can fit 3 people, the center seat is awkward because the rear cup holders extend all the way to the seat, making it hard for the middle person to sit comfortably. The cup holders in the front are a bit too close to the gear shift knob, making it hard to get access to your drinks.
