The Trailblazer is by no means a bad vehicle, but I can't wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. The best quality is how beginner friendly it is, with many features to help first time drivers, which is even more impressive when you consider that it is an SUV. Unfortunately, there are a lot of questionable parts, and it becomes expensive later once regular upkeep becomes more prominent. Regardless of the few issues, the Trailblazer is a smooth SUV that allows for a comfortable and safe drive for new drivers.
Story
The breaks work very well considering that it is an SUV. I've had many careless moments due to the radio that required me to hit the breaks hard, including times on the highway.
Pros
The car is very friendly for first-time drivers. It is high off the ground and has very few blind spots, allowing the driver to see all around them and confidently make decisions. It is also somewhat gas-friendly when compared to other SUVs. It is fairly easy to do most maintenance by yourself. Finally, the lights automatically turn on during the evenings and rainy weather, in case the driver forgets to turn them on.
Cons
Will require a lot of upkeep after the first 100,000 miles. Unless you are able to fix most issues on your own, it will start to cost a decent amount fairly quickly. It is also prone to tipping if you are a driver that makes quick decisions.

When I bought it, it had only around 70,000 miles on it. I dislike that is uses a lot of gas. Because it uses a lot of gas, this requires me to spend more money on gas, and also it is more harmful to the environment. It has several charging ports, including one in the back, which I like because it is useful if a passenger in the back wants to charge his device. I like that it also has a cup holder in the back, in addition to the cup holders in the front. It is the second car I owned (the first one being a 2000 minivan that costs 900 dollars), so I didn't expect much in a car. I used the car mostly to deliver food for Grubhub. My mother purchased the car for me.
Story
I drove to South Carolina to watch the full eclipse in 2017. I did not get a good view of the eclipse though, because I didn't get eclipse glasses. I blocked my eyes and aimlessly directed my cell phone camera at the sky. The footage I got captured parts of the view.
Pros
Cup holder in the back. Charging port in the back. Sun roof. Low mileage. Clean.
Cons
Uses a lot of gas. Dark color makes it get hot inside.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Went in just to look around and see what used vehicles they may have for a second and they were a great deal of help.
