I really like the body of the car: it is small on the outside, but spacious on the inside. The dashboard has two storage spaces and two glove compartments, so storing sunglasses and extras are easy. I do not like the speaker system, as the speakers are only in the front of the car, and not in the back. I also do not like the manual windows. The car interior is very comfortable: the fabric on the seats is cool to the touch and attractive to look at, too. It is fun to drive and handles easily. The gas goes a long way in the car. The car accelerates moderately fast, brakes well, and turns very easily. I feel like it is a safe car, and would recommend it to new drivers. The exterior noise comes in, but it isn't too loud or too bothersome. The blind spots are not worse or better than in most cars. I have only had to take the Chevrolet Sonic to the shop once so far, as the hubcaps were not the right kind for the car and were causing the wheels to make noise while driving.

Not all cars need to be high end. Many consumers can't afford high end cars anyways, while they can choose old used cars those aren't going to be as safe as newer cars.
