My Hyundai Sonata hybrid was the very first hybrid car I have ever owned or even ridden in. I really liked the look and style of the vehicle. The color is a silver with a hint of blue which makes it seem a little more interesting than just silver or white. I am financing to own with my husband, and we are making monthly payments to pay off the car. We paid a fair price at the time at a dealership, and we were able to make pretty affordable payments considering we had bad credit. The car drives well and is reliable for the most part. We have had trouble with the battery and sometimes a lag when you hit the gas because it is a hybrid. We have saved a lot of money on gas because of the good mileage, and the tank is affordable to fill completely.

A fun memory we had with the car is taking the vehicle on lots of day trips and our first family vacation!
A Favor
Some pros of this vehicle would definitely be the gas and mileage. The car says you can get up to 40 MPG, but I have found that we average about 25/30 MPG. For us it is enough to last about two weeks if we fill the tank all the way up. The tank costs us about $35 at about $3 a gallon to fill our tank. Another pro for me is that it can go fast and has easy maneuverability. I can cut corners easily and pass other cars easy. The trunk is another pro. I don't usually like trunks because they tend to lack space, but ours has plenty of room and we are able to fit more in our trunk than some of h... (more)
En Contra
Some cons would be blind spots. I am 5'3", and the car has a couple blind spots in the back windows. It doesn't usually make a big difference, but sometimes when I am backing out or trying to pass to someone I have to be extra careful to check my blind spots. Another negative would be the lag time when you hit the gas pedal. Because it is a hybrid and only a four cylinder, it doesn't always respond as quickly as I would like or sometimes need. Another negative is that we have had the car about one year six months and already needed to change the battery. We bought used, but it still seemed... (more)

Going from a fully electric vehicle to a hybrid car that's built as well as the Hyundai Sonata was one of the best decision's I've made. You don't have to worry about running out of electric charge, but you get the environmental and financial benefits that comes with driving a hybrid. One of my favorite things about the car is how clean both the exterior and interior look. The outside does not look like it was made in 2013. Most of my friends were surprised to find out that it was a used vehicle when I first bought it. The interior isn't leather, but it's not cloth. It's made of a fabric that's easy to wipe/vacuum things off, which is a huge positive if you have kids, like myself. I also love the heat warmers that are available for both the front and the backseats. Also, the backseat i... (more)

I live in the South, and so many people often make fun of me for driving a hybrid, especially since the state I live is known for the oil and gas industry. However, when they realize how much mileage I get on one fill-up and how little both my car note and my gas payments are each month, they're no longer the ones laughing.
A Favor
One of the most obvious positives about this vehicle is the hybrid aspect of it. Not only are you getting a great value for your money with the price of the car, but you also get to save money on gas due to it being a hybrid and a very well-made hybrid at that. I'm an active person who is always on the go. Even though it's just a four-door car and not an SUV, I have taken many road trips into the mountains without any issues with running out of space for luggage/gear or on the drive itself. Also, I love the material the seats are made of. I have a daughter, and that can lead to it being ha... (more)
En Contra
The only thing I can negatively say about this vehicle is that I wish it had a more updated screen panel. However, it is a 2013 model, so I think it's unrealistic for me to even say that.

My review is as follows. The car is nice. It is an electric and gas car. Its really good for cruising around the town and country road. If it weren't for the bumps and bruises that it's had, I'd really like it, but it's been beaten up so much that I'm more concerned about not knowing what to do to make it not beaten up to like it, though I appreciate it.
Historia
I tried getting some cheaper out of town gas and ran out to a place where I belong with the gas station closed for an hour before I could get some more.
A Favor
The pros include that it is electric and gas. It has the necessary electric for a day's worth of practically needed car travel and a gas tank for anything more than that. Not only that but the car can be charged fully from the night before. Literally one night's worth of sleep charges the whole thing. This seems like a great vehicle investment for when we'll be needing those types of things in the future. Hopefully it will last a long time.
En Contra
The cons include it is black. I like white. I got black. Uh, its not the fault of the car so much but it is getting dinged up here and there pretty unfavorably, so and I just don't know if I want to then fix them. I don't know if it's because it's black, but there you go. Also, I have to pay 450 a month for it, which is crazy. And then 130 a month in insurance. My insurance went up from 80 from the previous car cuz of a couple accidents.
