Hyundai Veloster Turbo.
I have a black Hyundai Veloster Turbo 2013. I like the interior, it makes it feel like you're inside of a sports car. It gets pretty good mpg, around 28 mpg. From the side it looks really cool. The engine sounds like it's a fast car. It's very small and compact. There's push start in the car, so you can just have your keys in your pocket. There are things I dislike about the car. It's kind of slow and the handling is kind of harsh. The shape of it looks like an egg, which some people have told me. There's no auto light sensor, and the radio system they have stock is sort of bad. It requires premium gas, which is really expensive for a car that supposedly has good mpg. There's not much leg room, and the seats aren't automatic. You have to use a lever to make it. In long road trips, the seats get uncomfortable to sit in, since they're built with racing seats. It doesn't have a good maintenance system to tell you electronically, that you need service. It's a 3 door car, which is kind of weird since the back doors and windows are uneven on each side. The trunk doesn't open automatically when you press the trunk button. You have to manually lift it up after it's unlocked. The shape of the A/C vents are kind of weird. The passenger side door doesn't have a holder for your coins. And there's only 4 seats in the car. The car doesn't come with a spare tire, but only a fix a tire kit. Overall, it's a good price since it's a Hyundai and since it's turbo it's like of like a mini sports car.

I love my Veloster Turbo!
I didn't expect to love the Veloster as much as I do. I was shopping for a small, practical, and reliable hatchback, and I expected to take a hit when it came to performance and how much I enjoyed the driving experience, but I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on any of the other cars I took for test drives. The Veloster has just enough space to haul my gear (I DJ, host, and photograph events, so I'm often lugging around sound and lighting equipment). The turbo combined with a six speed manual transmission make for a fun and engaging driving experience. The third door is a fantastic improvement over the regular coupe experience, and everyone who's ridden in my back seat remarks that it's roomier than they expected. I've had the car for over two years and haven't had any issues with it beyond normal maintenance. The car does have limited visibility, but it's small enough that its blind spots aren't a big deal, though I would appreciate a rear view camera for parking. Overall, I love my Veloster; it's unique enough to turn the right heads; it's fun to drive without being a beast; it's fuel-efficient enough for my needs; it has just enough space; it hasn't let me down; it's inexpensive to maintain; the Bluetooth pairs nicely. It's the perfect car for me.

A sporty ride.
The Veloster Turbo is a quality car with a great interior and nice amount of acceleration. It might not be the fastest hatchback on the market, but it more than makes up for it with a sleek exterior and overall great performance.
