Fantastic car that can gets you through anything!
I started driving on a Subaru, and I think I'll die driving a Subaru, they're such great cars with long lives. First of all, appearance-wise? They're pretty attractive cars if I do say so myself. The one I own is a nice shade of pearly blue, but all the colors they offered were sleek and trendy. The interior compliments the car with dark and light gray seats and a dark dashboard. My only complaint about my car is the fact that the seats aren't as comfortable as they could be -- but that is all in how much you're willing to spend. The Subaru I had before my '07 Legacy was a '96 Legacy GT with cushioned, leather seating. It was wonderful. Comparing the two cars a bit more, my current one seems to have much less space. It's not a huge issue because I don't store much in my vehicle until around Christmas time, but it is a noticeable difference. Over the amount of time I've owned this car, I've barely had to bring it to the shop. It has had some recalls, but those were fixed free of charge, and I never experienced any issues as long as I kept the maintenance up on my own. My tail pipe did rot out which was pricey to fix, but it was my own doing because I wasn't as careful to wash the salt off during the winter as I should have been. Overall, the gas and mileage for this car have been wonderful, and I feel the only way it could be better is if it was a hybrid. But let's get to the main reason you get a Subaru -- the all wheel drive. I live on a dirt road that gets very muddy at even the slightest hint of rain. My Subaru has been a godsend, pulling me through the mud bogs and unplowed snow in the winter. I have never once gotten stuck while driving this car (and we've had some crazy New York snowstorms!) They may be a little more expensive than your average, front wheel drive car, but all in all, I think it's worth that price.

The perfect sedan
I think the Subaru Legacy is a great car for anyone. It is budget friendly (for the most part), and drives like a sports car (to me at least). The tires are special "low profile" tires, and due to this countless donuts have successfully been done, as well as more importantly, the car has saved my butt in the snow so many times. The car has put up with so many fender benders that stupid 16 year old me had gotten into, and it still goes so strong. Therefore I can say it is very reliable, especially in the hands of a teenager. It is of course a stylish car, I think it has that "sexy" look that cars can have. The fuel economy is great, once I taught my lead foot to chill out. Especially with the long trips home I made from college. The audio system is pretty good too, since I have it on the highest level possible and the speakers have yet to go bad. The car has really experienced very little issues aside from things that are my fault. Issues that you would expect to face from a car almost 8 years old. I feel like a dedicated Subaru owner after this car, and I feel like it would be hard (on the non-luxury level) to replace a car like this.
