Used 2009 Subaru Legacy for Sale

This car has consistently exceeded my expectations from the day I got it. I was so happy to buy this car and even though it has had one major repair, it has run like a dream and gets decent gas mileage as well. I plan to drive this car into the ground, so I'm looking to put at least 200k more miles on it which will make it very worth the amount I paid.

The car was purchased used with only 9,000 miles so it was in perfect condition still. I love that it's a deep red, not an ugly red, even though that's superficial. I don't like flashy cars, and this is a very practical vehicle. The engine runs well, although I do wish it had a little bit more power. Sometimes accelerating onto the freeway seems like a struggle, and it is not meant for hauling heavy loads. I also wish it had a trailer hitch and a rear windshield wiper, since I have to clean the rear windshield myself when it gets dirty, and the trailer hitch would allow for a good bike rack. The spoiler on the car keeps it from looking too old-school. The car is compact but spacious enough inside for me as a 5’9” tall person. I have been able to transport large items such as dining tables with the legs and office chairs in the backseat. I also appreciate that the dashboard has no touchscreen, since I prefer buttons. The air conditioner and heater are very effective and heat up/cool down really quickly. The turn radius is good, even though the car is pretty long-bodied. The engine is quiet, and I have had no problems with the vehicle after five years and adding 30,000 miles to it. I once took it for an oil change, and the mechanics hailed how beautiful it was for being a 2009 model and said it could be in a showroom! I was very proud.
