Subaru Outback 2011 - Great Used Car Purchase
I purchased a used 2011 Subaru Outback a year ago from a dealership in New York. I have always owned Japanese cars, because I trust their ability to make quality, long-lasting vehicles. With just under 80,000 miles, I was skeptical about buying a car with so much tread but was reassured that vehicles from Subaru last significantly longer than most other cars. In short, this is the best car I've ever purchased. Its capabilities and control far exceed my expectations. Below I will list my personal opinion on the benefits and shortcomings of the vehicle. Oil changes are incredibly easy and the car doesn't even need to be lifted to access the oil valve for draining or the filter.

Best car I've ever owned
Subaru is known for its all-wheel drive. I work in a field that requires me to appear at work regardless of how bad the weather is outside, and often in the winter months I've had to drive to work with over a foot of snow on the ground, and drive back home at the end of my shift with more than that. I have always felt in control of my vehicle, no matter the weather. This has led to greater confidence when I'm behind the wheel, and I don't have to have the "death grip" on the steering wheel. As a result, not only am I more comfortable, but my passengers are too. The car has held up exceptionally well over the last 75,000 miles and six years, and aside from a wheel rebalancing, the only thing I have had to do is perform regular, routine maintenance tasks (some of which are easy enough to do myself). The car is absolutely a delight to drive still despite the fact it's a wagon, and the extra space inside is excellent when I'm in a pinch or hauling cargo around, yet nimble enough to drive like a car as opposed to a big SUV.
