Amazing Vehicle
I was looking for something sporty but practical as I have twins that are relatively young. The GTI is the perfect combination of all of this. There is plenty of room for storage, the back seat is plenty spacious, the interior looks great, it feels smooth and powerful to drive, and it looks great! I went from a '96 pick up to this and wouldn't even dream of going back.

LOVE IT!
I absolutely love my car. It's quick, light, and sporty. You can really zoom in and out of traffic in it. The only issue I have with my car is maintenance. To be fair, I pretty much loathe the vehicle except for when I'm driving it. Parts are expensive and insanely difficult to find. Every project on it that is supposed to take 20 - 30 minutes realistically takes hours or even days. Its too complex of a vehicle to do your own work on and its too foreign to be able to take it to the shop every single time something breaks. Which they do, all the time. Things are constantly breaking in it. The car is not the most reliable that I could have purchased. But if I wanted reliability, I would have gotten a Camry. I love my GTi, even with all the problems it has given me in three years. And even though my left calf is an inch larger than my right calf. Regardless, I love it, I'd buy it again in an instant.

Couldn't be more in love.
I have owned two 20th anniversary GTIs, and I wish I could find more but sadly only 4,000 were made. It has the AWP 1.8t motor, 6-speed transmission, premium wheels, and sporty suspension compared to its typical GTI counterpart. Has stock racarro seats, which hold you nicely in place as you take corners. As with any other VW, it holds its own stereotypes. I've had to fix several components on the vehicle; however, I have not had any major downtime other than an afternoon here or there. It's easily customizable with a plethora of aftermarket parts to make it your own. If you are handy and willing to learn, it's fairly easy to work on.
