Overall the Ford Ranger is a solid pickup. It is one of the few small trucks that you can buy in America. The truck is no-frills, but it can get jobs done. The insides are minimal, but nothing feels too cheap. The engine is solid and not too under powered. It is not a truck that you want to get if you are interested in the latest features or gas mileage. However, it is an awesome vehicle for transporting goods. I have driven across the country twice with hundreds of pounds of materials and have not had any issues.
Story
Often I've been surrounded by huge trucks that can't even hold as much stuff as this little truck (because their beds are too small).
Pros
The seats in the truck are very comfortable. Even though they are hard, they are way better than the soft seats that you sink into. I really like how you can just wash the floor without having to take out any foot mats.
Cons
I am a techie, so this truck disappoints in the technology department. There is not even a CD player or AUX jack. Also, I have had issues with the rear axle leaking. Eventually I had to get it replaced (before 50k miles).

One of the best vehicles that I have ever owned. Excellent for those quick trips to the hardware store, or for unfortunately, helping friends move. Excellent on gas, and if properly maintained, will last a long time.
Story
The best memory I have of this truck is being able to pack all my belonging from my apartment in one trip, and move into my new house, and then going to home depot and loading all the new appliances into it one trip as well.
Pros
Small truck that doesn't make you feel you are driving a tank, and versatile enough to move everything from small boxes to large bulky items. Excellent on gas mileage and easy to maintain.
Cons
It's a small truck, so you can only seat two people. Not a car to be considered the primary transportation for a family.

The sales rep was extremely informative and helped me pick a car that I absolutely adore. He answered all of my questions, and helped me get my car 1,500 dollars cheaper!

We are a military family and they were willing to give us the vehicle at asking price with no tax and they traded in our 1999 F250 as the down payment.
