Our Honda Accord was a solidly built, overall dependent car, despite the abuse it suffered under my ability to keep her in the best service I could in my early twenties. She was driven thousands of miles and held up exceptionally well. There were no tech issues, minor problems with the brakes, and nothing wrong with the engine or transmission in the seven years I drove her, even though she was used.
Story
Taking the Accord on long road trips was one of my favorite things to do. Put the sunroof back and enjoy the breeze on the way to our destination.
Pros
My favorite part about the Accord was the very reasonable gas mileage and the dependability. There were very few maintenance issues that I encountered, and the miles per gallon that I got from the Accord were good, making it an affordable car to keep on the road. The car had a great turning radius and handled true to form for other cars of its size. It wasnÕt too heavy, which I think kept the gas prices low.
Cons
Toward the end, she was getting pretty beaten up. Cosmetic issues on the outside were often expensive to repair, and the paint chipped easily. At the very end of her tenure, the Accord would do a thing where I could turn a sharp left and the engine would just shut down completely. That was likely more of an age issue rather. Also wish that there had been a little more depth in the trunk. We often hauled things in the back, but it was like playing Tetris getting them in.

2001 Honda Accord - Sturdy and keeps on trucking.

My Honda has been good to me for 8 years now. It doesn't have a lot of personality, but it has a lot of bumps and bruises to show all the places it's been. Over 160,000 miles, it survives despite the AC system flickering in and out, one back door is smashed shut, and the rusted roof.
Story
Driving all across central Texas in this car, I have many good memories. Driving up and down the steep hills at sunset to Bandera to explore, going to the Rio Frio and camping by the river.
Pros
My Honda does not give up. I like the large feel of the interior, the simple radio, the rotary phone I keep in the back window in case of emergencies. Otherwise, it is pretty standard and no particular feature is particularly great. I can parallel park it like a master.
Cons
My car does have some downfalls- some new, some old. It had hail damage when I bought it used (which is why I got a pretty good deal with a trade-in). I really don't mind, it gives it a little character and texture. When it rains, water leaks through the trunk and into the car; this is annoying. The roof has completely rusted over and, while it doesn't affect how the car runs, it looks pretty trashy and is a con. The back passenger door no longer opens, so any access to the back seat has to be through the back driver's side door. The heating/cooling system reliably goes in and out at unpre... (more)

Lots of selection and they had huge complex with a lot of variety of vehicles. The place also had a little day care for children, free drinks, and even light snacks. They even had dog biscuits for people who bring their pets.

The building looked polished and the facilities appeared clean. The technicians are really great and super thorough and very good at explaining whats wrong in laymen's terms. Though I usually don't care for car sales women/men, the sellers were not as pushy as other stores.

I loved the amount of attention the salesperson gave me. It wasn't overbearing but it also was not completely useless.
