I love my car! The best thing about my Fit is that it's dependable. It is 6 years old and I have barely had any problems. When I first got it, I wasn't so good about taking it to get the recommended maintenance, but it's still holding up great. It's really convenient for road trips because with the front seats folded back and the back seats folded down, you can lie down completely. Great when you're trying to get somewhere fast.
Story
I love going downtown with my car-it's so small that parking is rarely an issues.
Pros
I love how little gas the Fit uses. I am able to travel from home to work and do errands for about two weeks before I need to fill up, and when I do it always costs less than $25. I also like that it's a Low-emissions vehicle, so I know it's not as bad for the environment as most other cars.
Cons
While I love the Fit, it can be very noisy when driving, especially on the high way. The engine is loud, and the car must not be very well insulated. It is almost impossible to use a hands free device while driving because the other person just hears road noise. The front bumper also seems to be slowly detaching from the car. I don't think it will fall off, but some of the fasteners seem to be getting loose.

2010 Honda Fit - Competent and efficient.

On top of the aesthetic appeal of this compact car, it is incredibly efficient and sophisticated. As a city driver with a long commute, I can say it handles well, conforms to each situation accordingly and the computer system is great for a persons' first car! The set up works wells with my tall frame, with a foot rest on the left, and comfortable seating all around. One of the best features of the Fit is that each seat is totally customizable according to the situation! You can roll seats vertically or back onto the floor in order to maximize the cabin space.
Story
Yes! Within the first four months of owning my car, I took it on a cross-country road trip to Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival with a couple of friends. Although the ride was long and hard (15 hours!), it was incredibly comfortable and easy. We would pull over every now and then, push our seats back and take a nap to refuel. Although it was full of wrappers and fast food, by the time we got ho... (more)
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle include the options you have with the arrangement of seating in the car, and the typical Honda efficiency mechanics. It was a major selling point to know that I can use this car for moving halfway across the country as well as tucking in kids in the future. The user-friendly mechanics of this car make me feel safe and secure in when I need to take it in for a check-up, when I need to refuel, and when I need to go in for an emergency tune-up. It never leaves me guessing on what needs to happen. All-in-all, this has been a very good decision for a 2... (more)
Cons
The cons with this vehicle include the fact that it does not come with cruise control, the road noise and the blind spots. Although this can be considered a luxury item, it is my belief that all modern vehicles (those made past 2000), should have cruise control as standard. This option makes road trips longer than 2 hours a bit of a hassle. The issue of road noise is strange for the fact that I do not know why this model has this problem. Although still just a small issue, the amount of road noise can make or break the comfort of a drive for someone who barely likes driving as it is. On a ... (more)

From the start of car shopping until I had to bring it in for my first service visit everyone was so friendly and accommodating! My sales person, Nathan Lang, followed up with me every step of the way and didn't make fun of me when I stalled leaving with my car for the first time! What a sweetheart. . . .
