2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI - Great to drive. Small problems here and there
I love driving this, it is a fun little car. I also really enjoy the looks of it. The only thing letting it down is some build quality issues.
Story
When I was first getting used to the car I would peel out in second or third gear sometimes...
Pros
Amazing to drive.
Fun to mod and
looks great.
Cons
Small things go wrong all the time and the interior seems cheap.
A few known issues: Water Pump, and the Cam Chain system.
2012 Volkswagen Golf GTI - Fun, Exciting, Great
Overall, the car is great. It is very good quality, looks great on the outside and inside, and drives well. The body is not huge like most other cars today, but has a ton of room on the inside. The plaid seats and interior look and feel like quality and are holding up very well. The engine has enough power to zoom around town, and the six speed transmission is fantastic.
Story
Cross country trip in the car! Drove halfway across the country and got to see so many different sites thanks to the car!
Pros
The look of the car from the outside is very pleasing. The seats are very comfortable, even on very long car drives. The steering is pretty precise and the transmission is very smooth. The pedals are placed in a good way for precise shifting. The interior is very roomy and there is a tony of cargo space. The rear seats fold down to increase the cargo space. The wheels look good.
Cons
The pedals could be a little bit shifted for a better driving position. The stock shifter could be a little notchier to give better feedback to the driver. The AC is extremely loud on the highest setting. The mirrors are not auto folding, which could be very useful in very urban situations. The tires that come on the car from the factory are not the stickiest and don't have the best traction in the rain.

2007 Volkswagen Rabbit - Volkswagen Of Alamo Heights San Antonio
The salesman was very low pressure and let me look at the car with out making me feel like I was obligated to do anything. They also were willing to work with my financing situation and eventually ended up knocking off 2% interest from the loan from what was originally discussed.
