2016 Ford Fiesta - My lovely car.
This is a car for people who love to drive. The suspension is tight but not punishing. Handling is stunning, though I would prefer a little less body roll. There is lots of power on tap, but the main thing is, it's simply a blast to drive. There are lots of cars that will beat it in a drag race, but few could keep up with it on a windy road. The reason it doesn't 0-60 faster is traction. Ford severely limits 1st gear boost, gives about half-boost in 2nd, and then full boost in 3rd and beyond. This is because the car is very light, it would sit and burn the tires without reducing boost. Good thing is, Mountune makes Ford-approved modifications that don't void the warranty. After almost two months with the car, I am still thrilled every time I get to drive my Fiesta. Best car ever, serio... (more)

All the fun of a small Porsche or BMW without the snobbiness, high cost and bad gas mileage.
I was initially excited to try the Fiesta of the FOST fame, and it handled really well from a handling perspective in taking turns and being zippy. It also got excellent gas mileage (over 42mpg highway) for one of my trips, and overall was a comfortable ride. It also got excellent gas mileage (over 42mpg highway) for one of my trips, and overall was a comfortable ride. The challenge with the vehicle was the horrible powertrain; between the engine and the transmission, it couldn't figure out what it wanted to do. This was especially horrible for a stop-n-go or heavy traffic situations such as one would face in a daily commute, the engine kept revving and the transmission kept changing, it was very indecisive. Overall, decent car once it has a refined or improved powertrain, until then avoid for your own sanity.
Great value, but short on interior room and acceleration. Gets very good mileage and rides well for such a short wheelbase.

Out-corners and out-brakes most anything on the road, and acceleration is nothing to shake a stick at either.

2016 Ford Fiesta - It's a car that fits me.
Overall, I feel like the Ford Fiesta 2016 really fits my personality. I enjoy the "ride" of the vehicle; it's relaxing quiet and accelerates quickly. My previous vehicle was also a hatchback fuel-efficient car, but the Fiesta I have now is more responsive when I accelerate the gas pedal. The quality is simple, yet sturdy, and it fits my needs perfectly. A friend of mine has told me that the Fiestas are sometimes used in showrooms for car shows as a type of "sporty" car, so this influenced my decision to buy the vehicle.

I wanted the vehicle to look more "sporty" initially after I purchased it, so I bought some side paint strips for it off of the Ford website and a specific detail shop in Wharton County, Texas put them on for me. The workers there gave me rides back to my house and were very friendly. They also told me that I had a "neat little car."

The vehicle only had around 20 miles when I purchased it, although it was used. It still had the new car smell. It came with a sunroof, which I thought was a bonus, since the car was already in good shape. The rims look very "sporty", with black trim, which matches the shadow black color of the vehicle. The "ride" of the vehicle is the best part—smooth, relaxing, and accelerates quickly. I also enjoy the blue lights in the interior of the vehicle that glow at night.

The car did not come with window tint, so I had to buy this separately. The controls on the panel for the menu mode can be kind of confusing in navigating, so a touchscreen would have been better in the car. The back seats are a bit cramped, so the vehicle is not for a big family.
