1995 Honda Civic del Sol - Love my Del Sol

My Del Sol is the best car ever. It is sporty and fun to drive. Now that it is getting older I am waiting for it to become a classic car. Although it is a small two-seater car, when I remove the T-Top roof I can fit an amazing variety of things into it. I can also fit long things into it by opening the back window, so it is not as impractical as it might seem at first glance. The styling of the Del Sol is classic and beautiful. A big plus is the gas mileage. I get about 35 miles to the gallon on the highway and not that much less in the city. Since I do not drive it that much $20 in gas can last me a couple of weeks. That is very rare these days and a great plus. The stylish bucket seats are very comfortable and have great lumbar support. Although I am tall it is easy to fit into this ... (more)
Story
I love when people stop me and ask what kind of car it is. People always admire how attractive my Del Sol is.
Pros
Great gas mileage, super cute design, lots of leg room, extremely reliable.
Cons
The tiny sun visor is absolutely useless. It is the one thing I do not like. It is difficult to drive in the rain because it is so low to the ground.

The Honda Civic Del Sol is wonderful for anyone looking for great gas efficiency, ease of maintenance, and reliability. The car is easy to handle when driving. The steering reacts very well, and the turning radius is better than any car that I've driven, mostly on account of the small size. Because it is so small, it is extremely easy to find parking, especially during the holidays.
Story
The most fun that I had in my car was driving to San Francisco with the top off, enjoying the breeze and my music.
Pros
This car is extremely easy to sport around in. It is peppy when you step on the gas, and easily managed. The gas mileage on the car is better than most cars of the same year; about 34 miles to the gallon on the freeway.
Cons
There is no air conditioner in the car. This model was made without one. It is a small car, and you have to be very vigilant when driving it. A lot of other drivers will not see you. The Del Sol only has two seats, so this is not a family car.

The Honda Civic Del Sol is a tiny car that packs a huge punch. Being that is only a two seater, this car can go quite fast as well as have excellent handling. The car itself has very limited space, so if you are a taller or bigger person, this might not be the car for you. If on the other hand you are smaller and looking for a car that saves a ton on gas, then look no further, you have found what you are looking for. On average, about thirty-five dollars will fill up my tank and keep it running for a little over a week, keep in mind I am traveling from work to school 5 days out of the week.
Story
Once day I wanted to see how far I could go on a tank of gas, I drove for over 3 hours straight before my tank went empty and I had to call AAA to come put gas in my car.
Pros
The car itself runs great. It can take sharp turns with ease as well as is quite a gas saver, being that it is a four cylinder. Even though it is itself is a small car, there is much room in the trunk for shopping. This car is great with maintenance, as I have rarely had to take it to the shop, besides the normal tune-up and changing of tires.
Cons
Smaller car, so there is only room for two. When there is a truck driving at night behind you the headlights tend to feel more like blinding light to you since the car its a bit lower than normal cars.
