The HRV is a well made car overall. The interior is well done and the full touchscreen controls are a nice touch and a change to Honda's normal layout. I do not like the way the HRV takes bumps. I know that the vehicle is a crossover but I was told that there would be a better shock system to take bumps and railroad tracks and that was not the case at all. I have driven 30,000 miles and has we have driven the car it has gotten worse. The seats in the back are nice as they either laydown or raise up. The HRV has a good overall comfort from the seating aspect and has a lot of room to fit larger objects in the back of the vehicle than I expected. I think that the tires could be a bit larger as it seems that they are a little lower to the ground than they should be for the type of vehicle ... (more)
Story
The one memorable story I have with my vehicle is that we took it for a road trip with my family that came into town and drove from Hartford, CT to Boston, MA for a day trip. The day was great it was the first time we had someone else ride along with us. It was great because we were able to fit everyone comfortably in the car and we enjoyed the audio system and just being together on the road ... (more)
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are the mix of the different styles of Honda vehicles to compose the vehicle. You can see that they had taken the body of the CRV, the steering wheel and front seats of the Civic and the backseats of the Fit to make the vehicle. It is a nice smaller/mid-size SUV and allows for someone with not a large family to be get an SUV that is not massively larger. The touchscreen larger display and the heated seats are my 2 favorite features on the vehicle. The full touchscreen control system is unique and I think that it makes the SUV different from others... Cons
The top negative things about the HRV is the ride in it especially in the back. The vehicle is terrible on bumps or tracks and living in the Northeast the roads are terrible to begin with. The AWD feature is nice but I feel that the traction of the vehicle is left to be desired and really doesn't do the job. The HRV is a nice car but the fact that I feel that I am still driving a normal car when going over tough roads is a huge con to me.

This has been the greatest single purchase I've made. I get compliments on it daily. I enjoy my commute to and from work every day. This vehicle is amazing in every way. The interior is well done. The exterior is beautiful. It's great on gas and has some pretty good power. The AWD makes it ideal for the winters and provides beautiful handling for when your "not racing" with other cars down the highway (Seriously, don't race. It's dangerous and puts A LOT of people's lives in danger.) You feel it when you accelerate. I recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a vehicle they'll never want to get out of once they sit inside.
Pros
The interior has every feature you could want or need. It has premium leather seats and a navigation. When you sit down, you feel like you are in control. Everything is at hands reach and at your disposal. Once you start driving, the cars feels like it's floating on the road. You don't feel a single bump at all. The exterior is beautiful. The paint is amazingly clean. With a quick wash, you can see yourself in paint's reflection, like glass. At this price, you couldn't have asked for anything more. Also, it's a Honda. You won't be buying another car anytime soon.
Cons
None whatsoever. The price is ridiculous for the quality of car you get. It's an amazing car and I honestly can't find one bad thing to say about it. I guess if I HAD to say something bad, I'd say it's such a great deal, that everyone will be driving it soon and it'll be hard to stand out. Then again, if everyone's going to be driving it, you know you made a right choice if everyone else feels like you do.

This is a great new car! It is a crossover style, so it has the interior space of a sport utility vehicle without the issues of poor gas mileage. It claims to get around 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, but I find that my average is around 29 mpg total and I do a lot of highway driving. Regardless of whether or not it gets the gas mileage as advertised, it definitely gets better gas mileage than most cars and certainly almost all SUVs or other crossovers. The price is pretty reasonable, especially considering it is a Honda, which tend to last for an extremely long time. I previously owned a Honda Civic for over ten years and over 150,000 miles and had relatively few issues other than standard maintenance. I hope and expect this car to last as long as well!
