The HRV is a well made car overall. The interior is well done and the full touchscreen controls are a nice touch and a change to Honda's normal layout. I do not like the way the HRV takes bumps. I know that the vehicle is a crossover but I was told that there would be a better shock system to take bumps and railroad tracks and that was not the case at all. I have driven 30,000 miles and has we have driven the car it has gotten worse. The seats in the back are nice as they either laydown or raise up. The HRV has a good overall comfort from the seating aspect and has a lot of room to fit larger objects in the back of the vehicle than I expected. I think that the tires could be a bit larger as it seems that they are a little lower to the ground than they should be for the type of vehicle ... (more)
Story
The one memorable story I have with my vehicle is that we took it for a road trip with my family that came into town and drove from Hartford, CT to Boston, MA for a day trip. The day was great it was the first time we had someone else ride along with us. It was great because we were able to fit everyone comfortably in the car and we enjoyed the audio system and just being together on the road ... (more)
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are the mix of the different styles of Honda vehicles to compose the vehicle. You can see that they had taken the body of the CRV, the steering wheel and front seats of the Civic and the backseats of the Fit to make the vehicle. It is a nice smaller/mid-size SUV and allows for someone with not a large family to be get an SUV that is not massively larger. The touchscreen larger display and the heated seats are my 2 favorite features on the vehicle. The full touchscreen control system is unique and I think that it makes the SUV different from others... Cons
The top negative things about the HRV is the ride in it especially in the back. The vehicle is terrible on bumps or tracks and living in the Northeast the roads are terrible to begin with. The AWD feature is nice but I feel that the traction of the vehicle is left to be desired and really doesn't do the job. The HRV is a nice car but the fact that I feel that I am still driving a normal car when going over tough roads is a huge con to me.

The quality for my car is somewhat okay. It's not old or brand new, but it's enough for me to satisfy what I need for driving. I've had Honda for about four years, now and I haven't had any major problems with it. I had two minor accidents in the past, but they didn't degrade the quality of my car. The overall performance for my car is adequate that I would recommend my car to my close friends and families. The driving quality is smooth and easy since I drive the automatic setting, and the buttons and keys are in the right spot for me to navigate the system. I love the interior design where it's leathery and smooth.
Story
I had fun time driving this car with my friends when I was driving to Dallas from Houston on the way back to my house. I had three friends with me for a good five hours, and we listened to our favorite songs and sang along the whole way back. It was nice experience having a mini karaoke in my car. Also, after eating fast food in my car, it was easy to clean up the mess due to the leather seats... (more)
Pros
I like the technical upgrade such as Bluetooth and rear-camera setting. Bluetooth is very important for me where I spend most of my time listening to the music in the car. I like to download songs onto my phone and use the Bluetooth. Also, calling with Bluetooth system is by the far best option I have for my car. I consider safe driving as the most essential part of the life and having Bluetooth really does its job so I don't have to use my hands during driving. I'm not comfortable driving at night due to my poor night sight, so rear camera is a must-have option for me. I've driven for abo... (more)
Cons
The color. I bought my car in gray, and since there are many gray cars out there, sometimes it is hard for me to find my car after grocery store or large department store parking lot. I would have chosen a somewhat vivid color to stand out more. Also, although the size of my car is adequate for me to drive by myself, since I have a child now, I think it should have been better for me to purchase the SUV or van.

This is a great new car! It is a crossover style, so it has the interior space of a sport utility vehicle without the issues of poor gas mileage. It claims to get around 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, but I find that my average is around 29 mpg total and I do a lot of highway driving. Regardless of whether or not it gets the gas mileage as advertised, it definitely gets better gas mileage than most cars and certainly almost all SUVs or other crossovers. The price is pretty reasonable, especially considering it is a Honda, which tend to last for an extremely long time. I previously owned a Honda Civic for over ten years and over 150,000 miles and had relatively few issues other than standard maintenance. I hope and expect this car to last as long as well!
