2018 Honda HR-V - Review
Quite happy with the HRV LX 2WD. Good price, handles well and very comfy quiet ride. Just had a massive snow storm and the 2WD was totally fine in the thick snow. I had to be more careful and drive much slower than normal but didnÕt miss 4WD at all.
Story
My boyfriend and I went to Texas. On the way, a dog ran out in front of us. We crashed and had to stay in the car that night.
Pros
It has a shift knob and steering wheel clad in leather, 18-inch wheels, roof rails, and black trim along the vehicle's body.
Cons
One of the more annoying aspects of the HR-V is the fact that the engine can be obnoxious. Getting it up to higher RPMs or to full-throttle will make the engine leak a ton of noise into the cabin. Engine vibration is even noticeable while idling, and the tires do add some extra noise while driving.
2018 Honda HR-V - Fine vehicle
This is a solid every day commuter vehicle for a small family. I have the base trim model and a manual transmission. The gas mileage is acceptable. It can get plenty of speed on the highway. Decent interior space. It does suffer from poor pick up, and it takes a while to reach full speed. All in all, very happy with the vehicle, and I would definitely recommend it for someone that wants a cheap base model car with decent gas mileage and decent interior space.
Story
I have taken this car up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is always a good time.
Pros
The car has good gas mileage. The interior space is more than adequate, and it fits a tall person ( I am 6'3" and fit comfortably driving it). It is relatively inexpensive and affordable.
Cons
This car does lack acceleration. There are times where I feel that I am taking forever to reach top speed. The weather gaskets in the door-frame are definitely cheaply built and have fallen apart at times.
