My Pilot is such a wonderful vehicle! It's no 4 wheeling vehicle, by any means, but it will get you unstuck in almost any situation. There's enough room for 8 and it rides great. I would not recommend getting it in black; I don't know if it's the quality of Honda's paint or us, but it seems to chip easily. It is a solid SUV; shutting the door is a solid sound and it is very safe. Honda's vehicles are made to last, so hopefully, with proper care, we can be an owner to make it to 300,000+ on the mileage. Speaking of mileage, we average about 23 mpg, with city/highway driving.

We absolutely love our Honda Pilot. We purchased it because we were adding another kid to our family and couldn't be happier. The three car seats fit perfectly across the middle seat for when we are going on trips and need to store our luggage in the back. We've never had a problem with it that we've needed repairs though we keep up basic maintenance such as tire rotations and oil changes. It drives great in the snow but does well in the high heat of the summer as well.

Shopped around for months. The Honda Pilot seemed to deliver the most bang for the buck, and Honda has a reliable history of vehicles. Some nice luxury touches with the entertainment system, navigation, and power front seats, but you really feel uneven road surfaces during the ride. Given the height of the vehicle, some standard running boards would be useful on the Touring model. Seating for eight is nice, but it's definitely a tight fit with eight people. Like most SUV's - you better hope there are some small people or kids sitting with you if it's a ride longer than 15 minutes. Would be great for 4-6 people comfortably on a long road trip. Rear view camera, power driver's seat w/ 2 memory settings, and power rear lift gate have been really convenient.
