From day one I loved this vehicle. I never owned a SUV up to that point and wasn't sure what to expect. Since I got it in 2013 it's hands down the best automobile I have ever had. It has so much room and modern conveniences not to mention a DVD player and TV screen for my little one in the backseat. It runs great and maintenance has been relatively cheap to maintain.
Story
The first time we went to take it to a car wash we didn't know that we had to fold in our side mirrors. They nearly got torn off, ok I'm exaggerating but we had a exciting and yet scary fun experience with it.
Pros
My favorite features of the car is the space and the ability to fold down the seats for more room. And everything is electric. My former cars didn't have power anything so this car is a real treat.
Cons
To be honest the only con is the gas mileage, I wish the type of vehicles had better gas mileage.

I like my Honda Pilot very much, it has a lot of room, drives nice and has a lot of power. Looks good, goes in all kinds of weather, you have the confidence you can go not matter what the road conditions are. Not so good on gas in the city, better on open road. It rides about 8 people for large families and if you put the 2 back seats down, gives you plenty of room to carry things. I don't like the back hatch back door it's heavy and with things in your hands it's hard to reach up and close. No front seat cup holders. High off the ground, a little hard getting in if your short, but mine have running boards which make a big difference. Tires are expensive to replace, because they are so big. My Pilot has AM-FM radio, DVD player which it great for the children on long trips, cassette pl... (more)

Wanted to buy a set of bunk beds, easy to accommodate. My the trip easy to get everything in the vehicle.

High off the ground, a little hard getting in if your short, Tires are expensive to replace, because they are so big. Hard for me to park. At times hard to see if another car is approaching on either side, I have to completely turn my head around to make sure a car is not beside me.
