When we purchased this vehicle there were a few other contenders, but we really like the traditional style and cab space in comparison. We were not disappointed. With two adult children and two small children we really needed a third row seat and still have room in the hatch. We have never been cramped for space. I love how easy and accessible all of the controls are. We travel a lot on the road and sometimes take a large crated dog. We have been able to fit our crate and travel needs in order for our family to take advantage of our time together. My Honda Pilot has almost 100,000 miles on it and it still drives tight with very little road noise. The driver's seat is easily adjustable and very comfortable. I love all of the hidden storage features so that my vehicle can seem organized ... (more)
Story
During a camping trip we were rained out. While my husband and I were trying to get everything packed up the children played in the car and watched movies.
Pros
The pros are dependable, comfortable, low maintenance and reasonably priced in comparison to other vehicles in its class. Durable.
Cons
We are satisfied with our Honda and love the traditional SUV body style. A con may be the gas mileage, but it is a 4wd large vehicle.

This is a great looking vehicle and knowing that it's made by Honda is even more of a reason to own it. It currently has 80,000 miles on it and it I've no major trouble with it. It still drives well and only seems as though it needs an alignment, but that is only due to my husbands driving as well as my own. The interior is nice looking. However, my one complaint is that on the drivers side door the leather on the arm rest has worn out pretty quickly and has developed a small tear. It needs to be replaced! I have also owned one vehicle in particular with a much better stereo sound system... Even though the stereo in my Honda is the top of line brand offered by Honda. No issues have been encountered with anything either. We have had to replace the battery one time and we had to replace... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature of the vehicle when we purchased it was the style (attractiveness) of it as well as specific features it includes. Examples include the navigation system, information system which includes your current gas mileage, tire info, and mileage left with amount of gas in vehicle.
Cons
Sound system is sub par compared to other factory systems I've owned. Some of the leather interior seems too soft to maintain durability of a long period. ALSO... The seat belt warning drives me INSANE. Even though I wear my seat belt 99 percent of the time and encourage seat belt use, I don't believe it's my vehicles job, or car manufacturers job to tell me to wear it or to drive me CRAZY by having an obnoxious "ding" when not wearing it. There are times when riding as a passenger when we've been on long road trips that I wanted to take it off for comfort only for a few minutes. I REALIZE... (more)
