Overall, the 2016 Honda Civic in the EX-T trim level is a versatile, affordable, and option-packed vehicle. The manufacturers obviously did their marketing research when choosing entertainment and technology features, drive performance, and fuel efficiency. The genius combination of stock features beautifully complements the cutting edge German-inspired design with eye-catching curves to refresh the decades-old Civic brand. For the price, there is no other car on the market with a better combination of specifications that is designed to enable young 20-somethings a reliable commuter car with style, sportiness, and comfort.
Story
Driving along Highway 1 with cruise control engaged and the moon roof open and enjoying the brisk and fresh Northern California Coastal breeze during sunset.
Pros
The most positive features of the car's technological components are the EX-T's extra large seven-inch touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay. This recently released car application allows Apple smartphone users to seamlessly plug-and-play their music, maps, and contact content through the touchscreen interface. This provides a safe alternative to dashboard- or windshield-mounted brackets to physically prop your phone up to eye-level. Another element of the 2016 Civics' fantastic features are standard rear-view as well as right-side-view cameras that most other cars in the compact class... (more)
Cons
The only cons of the Civic are classified under interior comfort. Because of the budget level of the vehicle, powered seats are an extra luxury item. This is understandable, however given the basic no-frills style of the seat one would at least expect the seats to be comfortable. Unfortunately, the worst offending seat in the car is the passenger seat that sits extremely low to the floor, causing discomfort getting in and out of the passenger seat. The drivers' seat shares similar uncomfortable features due to the basic seat design and inadequate cushioning. The fabric, stylish as it is, s... (more)

The 2016 Honda Civic EX-T is a well designed and beautiful car. It gives you the feeling of driving a sports car while still delivering where Honda excels the most. The car is built well with a great interior and plenty of little toys to keep you happy. The car easily gets you 42+ Miles Per Gallon if driven correctly. The turbo is handy in certain situations while the eco mode makes the car a breeze to drive.
Story
Driving home from Brooklyn, NY to Long Island, I was able to maintain about 53 MPG in the car. You may think I was driving like a snail to achieve this but on the contrary, I drove the car normally and even kicked in the Turbo a couple times for fun. The car always surprises.
Pros
Pros for this car include the gas mileage, which will average you out around 40 even if you drive in city type areas. The car's design makes you feel like you are driving a higher end car. Even with its low horsepower, the turbo definitely gives you the pep you might want in a sportier car. The interior is warm and sleek and makes you feel like you are in a luxury car. Comes included with side view camera and back end cameras with 3 modes.
Cons
The main cons with the car is that the turbo, with the ECO mode off, kicks in a little too hard and you have to be very sensitive on the gas. Also, the windshield seems to crack very easy which can be a pain if you drive a lot.
