2010 Honda Fit - I Even Gave the Car a Name
I bought this car gently used and was immediately impressed with the ability to store things. I have moved with it, went camping with it, and even fit an armoire! The commercials are close to true - it does fit just about anything. The back seats are able to be put down altogether or the seat part can fold up to create more room behind the front seats.
Story
I took my car in for a tire repair to Les Schwab. Turned out I had a nail in my tire. When I got there, the guys working looked up my license plate and said "Hi Hannah!". And I responded with "Huh? My name isn't Hannah..." Turns out the original tires were from there and I had bought the car used from that owner.
Pros
One of my favorite things about the car is the peppiness. It is a great commuter car, gets good mileage per gallon, and can get into tight parking spaces in the city due to its compactness. The seats are comfortable and it is also rated high for safety. Another great feature is the visibility in the front. There are side windows that give you extra visibility around the nose of the car. I love this car - I even named her Gea.
Cons
This car is definitely not as practical in winter or for rough driving. It sits low to the ground so it often scrapes when entering steep driveways, and the tires are smaller than normal cars so there is not a lot of clearance space. Overall, I love the car and was very happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy another Honda Fit.
2010 Honda Fit - Fun
I love the versatility of this car. There is a lot of storage, visibility and it is quite reliable. One of the reasons I picked it was also because it was safe. It was rated pretty high in its class. One thing I have to include is that it is easy to park in the city, and I am a bad parker. I have had way more success when owning this car. I find it easy to maneuver. There are a lot of windows so I can see around me, and it has pep when it needs to. I have driven this is all weather, and it does well in all except snow. I would recommend chains or snow tires. As far as the interior goes, all of the dashboard is user friendly and well positioned. There are a lot of cup holders, but not a lot of hidden storage space. I did notice there was a compartment under a seat, and that is enough to... (more)
Story
I remember that when we moved we had to pick up a new buffet table and someone said, "are you sure this will fit?" And I said, "everything fits in a Honda Fit."
Pros
Safe, reliable, good storage, good versatility, and gas mileage.
Cons
Light (blows in the wind), small, and not good off roads or in snow.

2010 Honda Fit - Ron Tonkin Honda Portland
I liked Ron Tonkin because they didn't jerk me around. They also had a good selection, so it was pretty easy to find the car I wanted. The price was acceptable. They had a friendly staff that made the process acceptable. And I enjoyed how it didn't take all day to get the transaction finished.
