Over the years, the Jeep brand has cultivated a unique look to match its unique reputation as a devil-may-care off-road adventure vehicle. While my own jeep has seen more city streets than mud lakes, it has served me well without complaint. The interior is functional, but not luxurious. There is no CD player or tape deck. Its back seats fold down into the floor to allow for plenty of space for whatever cargo you may need to carry. The ride is actually surprisingly smooth for what it is. The entire design could be fairly described as “Spartan” but boy, is it effective. The gas mileage is not great but it’s also not terrible. I have had to replace the battery once for no reason I could deduce- that is to say, I didn’t accidentally leave my lights on all night or anything like that. It looks different enough from other cars that you won’t have to worry about finding yourself wandering through a parking lot late at night, struggling desperately to remember where you parked the darn thing. Overall, it’s a fine car that will get you from point A to point B reliably. It makes for a nice first car, or daily driver for those who don’t find all the bells and whistles necessary. In short, if you prefer a reliable drive to a seat warmer, this car will be fine for you.
