It is pretty inside and out however there is a few to many mechanical flaws with this model.
The outside of the vehicle is very nicely built and is of a decent size. The inside if especially nice because of the room it has in each row. It is a decent size, not to large but not to small.

My 2006 Jeep Commander is AWESOME!
I bought my 2006 Jeep Commander, used, about 2 years ago. The Commander has a solid build to it, no rattles, jingles or jangles. The 7 passenger seating is great for the size of my family and got me out of buying the "Dad Van". The features that came with the car (electric windows, sunroof, heated seats and heated mirrors) have never failed me and have actually worked really well. There is no better feeling in the world then hopping in your vehicle in the dead of winter and having your seats warmed up in a very fast manner. One negative item with the vehicle is the shifter. My Commander is an automatic, but soon after I purchased the vehicle I ran into an issue with the shifter not making contact to the circuit board it's connected to underneath. After checking out the Jeep message boards I found out that this was a known issue but no recalls had been made. It was a relatively easy fix, just a little pricey, Aside from that one issue, I am very happy with my decision to purchase my Jeep Commander.

Did not meet my expectations.
I like that the truck had three rows of seats. It accommodated the size of my family. The ride was very bumpy, and not as smooth as the limited edition. The engine was jerky, and noisy. I did not like the short leg room in the middle row, and third row. I did not like that the third row did not have ventilation. I did not like that it did not have a sunroof. I did not like the problem of safety, as it would not run correctly if you did not purchase Shell gas. The engine could stall.
