1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - A great car

I loved the Black leather seats I had. They were heated seat as well. I Loved the pockets on the back seats it had. Which was great also was that the car had cup holders in the back.
Pros
The positive things about my car was it went through snow like nothing. I never slide all over the road. The car has heated seats and the heat for the seats worked incredibly awesome. If I didn't have heated seats for the winter time my but would of been cold. I had amazing trunk space. In the back there was lights to see in the trunk during the night.
Cons
The car was always breaking down. If it wasn't one thing I had to fix it was another. My car had rust on the body of it. And the color I hated I had a terrible green color. I had an oil leak that was dripping continuously and would not stop even after I brought it somewhere the oil still was leaking. It was terrible. The most stupid and weird thing that I hated about the car was the fact that when I turned on the wipers the head lights turned on and when I shut the wipers off the head lights would go out. That was the most obnoxious thing ever.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Great & Spacious Car Although a Little Pricey for What it is Worth

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought used. I have always wanted one of these, although Jeeps are quite expensive. I love the look and the roundness of the vehicle, and there is so much room- especially for parents of children! I have always been a fan of Jeep, and they have a great name, but at the same time they can cost you as well. The model I have has a few wiring issues, like my taillight will not stay working, blinker does not work, etc. Jeeps are notorious for this issue though, so if you are planning on buying one, it is sort of expected.
Story
Jeeps are great vehicles for everlasting memories! You can go practically anywhere (if you have 4x4), you can open the hatch and tailgate, and they aren't too big and bulky to squeeze through tight places like many trucks! I believe my best memory is when it snowed, going out and riding around in it, when everyone else was stuck at home with no 4x4.
Pros
I love the fact that the Grand Cherokee has the indicator above the rear view mirror that gives all sorts of useful information (temperature, instant MPH, miles remaining until empty, etc). I seriously will never buy another car without that next time I buy one. It also has plenty of room, and 4x4 is definitely a must have I would suggest on any vehicle!
Cons
As I mentioned earlier, the wiring issues are a pain sometimes, especially when you had no idea your blinker, tail light, etc. was out. The gas mileage is not the best either. I probably get about 14mpg on average, but then again I rarely take the highway; I think it is about 17mpg on average.

I initially loved this vehicle! I have loved Jeeps for a long time and I went from a Cherokee (which I loved!) To the Grand Cherokee. It's bigger than the Cherokee, which was important to me because of car seats and baby gear. It has a sun roof and mechanical front seats. It has a luxury package, so it's all leather, nice stereo. Unfortunately, I found out recently that the Grand Cherokees are prone to a few issues. For example, my driver's seat is broken. There's bracket underneath that breaks pretty regularly and costs about $600 to fix. And of course with age, the door sensors have started to go, so now when I lock the car it makes a really obnoxious sound. Otherwise, it's a great vehicle that's been very helpful.
Story
I can't think of anything specific as far as fun moments in the Jeep. I've enjoyed driving it, especially since my daughter was born. The Cherokee was so much more cramped with all of her stuff in there, it's nice to have the extra space.
Pros
There is more room. Heated seats! Sun roof. The back seat splits to fold down. Working air conditioning. All leather. Electronic adjustable front seats.
Cons
The drivers seat breaking. It's a common thing for the Grand Cherokee, but Jeep won't issue a recall. The door sensors going out. The back passenger door has to be manually locked. Sounds loudly obnoxious when it's locked. The only external key hole is in the drivers door. Does NOT get good gas mileage-about 16.
