This is the first Jeep I have ever purchased. I would personally purchase another Jeep. But I have several complaints. I love the interior design, the feel and the space that my car gives me. But I have had several problems with this vehicle that I have never had with another car. Every single window regulator for every door in my car has malfunctioned once or more. I have also had issues with a few sensors. I do not like the radio that came with the car I personally felt that they could have installed a better version. Besides that I am looking forward to purchasing another Jeep in the future.
Story
I once met a guy who I had started dating who had the same exact car different year and color but we both used to share stories about our cars.
Pros
The design inside and out is modern, and comfortable. The seating is great the room within the car as well as in the trunk area is perfect for me and my passengers. I like the dark interior. I like the height of my vehicle, I am short but I don't have to have extra accessories attached to my car to get in and out comfortably. The body design is nice and slick. I like the fact that I can see comfortable out of my windows and have no problems with my mirrors to gage traffic around me.
Cons
The major problem I have had was with all of my windows needing repair at one time or another. Every single window regulator in my vehicle has malfunctioned. I currently have two window that are not working even though I have had them repaired before. Other than that I really do not have any con's other than the gas mileage. I'm sure with the next purchase of a later Jeep that will be taken care of.

The Jeep is well-built from top to bottom. It's a very attractive car and has stood the test of time. It still looks brand new after a few years. We had a few issues when we first purchased the vehicle (lightly used), but since then, we have had no issues. It's a great car for a road trip - gas is surprisingly better on highways than older models, and has a huge tank. The steering wheel rattles a bit when going between 65-75 mph, and I've had occasional trouble switching from regular to snow setting when weather isn't great.
Story
We drove the car along the East Coast on a multi-state road trip. We had enough room for everything we needed to hit the beach in several states the first summer we had it. This includes suitcases, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a big old cooler. Just had to put down the back seats and it was perfect for two of us.
Pros
The car is very attractive and modern. It has a lot of great features including the sun and moon roof, heated leather seats, Bluetooth and automatic lights. It drives very smooth on back roads and handles bumpy roads well. The sound system is very high quality and has several settings. The trunk has so much space, and can expand even more with the back seats rolled up.
Cons
When we first got the vehicle, we had issues with the transmission and steering. At the 35,000 mile mark, we had to have some work done that we didn't anticipate until 50k. The steering wheel rattles when on a highway going between 65-75 mph. In the snow setting when it is snowing out, there have been times where the car felt less steady/more slippery than when in regular mode.

This Jeep has excellent engine longevity, a comfortable interior, and is one of the best SUVs in its class. A quality vehicle that is a pleasure to drive. Power door locks, power steering, power seats, power door locks, and brakes. Tilt steering wheel, day/night lever on rear-view window, interval wipers, cruise control are all standard on this vehicle. Gas mileage is low but to be expected for an SUV this size. A reliable car that rarely breaks down. Premium stereo and sound system, including AM/FM radio, cassette (for those old timers who still use them), and a CD player. Dual air bags, leather-wrapped steering wheel, computerized date/time, and service indicator. Everything about this Jeep is high quality, and the interior has held up well over time. The body is beautiful with metal... (more)
Story
Four-wheel driving on the beach with friends, what a blast! Such a fun vehicle to own and drive.
Pros
High mileage endurance, fun interior, computerized center console, dual-power seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, four-wheel drive, high quality interior, a pleasure to drive, reliable, high quality engine components, and high vantage point while driving. My favorite features: comfortable soft cloth seats - I wish Jeep still made seats like this 1996 model, outside temperature gauge, day/night dimmer mirror, oil change (service) mileage indicator, and computerized date/time display.
Cons
Low gas mileage, transmission failure but ran fine after transmission replacement, and hood latch broke easily and had to be replaced.
