This is the first Jeep I have ever purchased. I would personally purchase another Jeep. But I have several complaints. I love the interior design, the feel and the space that my car gives me. But I have had several problems with this vehicle that I have never had with another car. Every single window regulator for every door in my car has malfunctioned once or more. I have also had issues with a few sensors. I do not like the radio that came with the car I personally felt that they could have installed a better version. Besides that I am looking forward to purchasing another Jeep in the future.
Story
I once met a guy who I had started dating who had the same exact car different year and color but we both used to share stories about our cars.
Pros
The design inside and out is modern, and comfortable. The seating is great the room within the car as well as in the trunk area is perfect for me and my passengers. I like the dark interior. I like the height of my vehicle, I am short but I don't have to have extra accessories attached to my car to get in and out comfortably. The body design is nice and slick. I like the fact that I can see comfortable out of my windows and have no problems with my mirrors to gage traffic around me.
Cons
The major problem I have had was with all of my windows needing repair at one time or another. Every single window regulator in my vehicle has malfunctioned. I currently have two window that are not working even though I have had them repaired before. Other than that I really do not have any con's other than the gas mileage. I'm sure with the next purchase of a later Jeep that will be taken care of.

The Jeep is well-built from top to bottom. It's a very attractive car and has stood the test of time. It still looks brand new after a few years. We had a few issues when we first purchased the vehicle (lightly used), but since then, we have had no issues. It's a great car for a road trip - gas is surprisingly better on highways than older models, and has a huge tank. The steering wheel rattles a bit when going between 65-75 mph, and I've had occasional trouble switching from regular to snow setting when weather isn't great.
Story
We drove the car along the East Coast on a multi-state road trip. We had enough room for everything we needed to hit the beach in several states the first summer we had it. This includes suitcases, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a big old cooler. Just had to put down the back seats and it was perfect for two of us.
Pros
The car is very attractive and modern. It has a lot of great features including the sun and moon roof, heated leather seats, Bluetooth and automatic lights. It drives very smooth on back roads and handles bumpy roads well. The sound system is very high quality and has several settings. The trunk has so much space, and can expand even more with the back seats rolled up.
Cons
When we first got the vehicle, we had issues with the transmission and steering. At the 35,000 mile mark, we had to have some work done that we didn't anticipate until 50k. The steering wheel rattles when on a highway going between 65-75 mph. In the snow setting when it is snowing out, there have been times where the car felt less steady/more slippery than when in regular mode.

There are many things for me to love about my car. The 4-wheel-drive is everything that you'd expect from a Jeep, and the suspension is just as great. I've been able to take it up 30% incline roads with absolute ease and have it drive just as well on your typical main street. I haven't had a single problem with the electronic aspects of the car either, or the interior. The seating is phenomenal, mainly due to the fact that I've had to sleep in the back a couple of times. It's a vehicle that's perfect for someone who is solely dependent on themselves and wouldn't trust another car to do the job. It fits in with my rugged personality, because I wanted a car that could possibly take a beating here and there. If you're an outdoorsman like myself, you'll have no trouble falling in love with... Story
This summer, myself and 4 friends all went on a camping trip and found ourselves lost in the Montana back country wilderness. The campsite we DID come across after about 3 hours of driving straight upwards was surrounded by nothing but open blue sky, abandoned mining equipment from the gold seekers who came before us and a rock wall covered in drawings and signatures of those who had made the ... (more)
Pros
Because of my natural need to feel independent, my Jeep allows me the freedom to literally go "anywhere" and feel like I won't get stuck. I could be in a 4-foot ditch covered in mud and know that I'd be fine. I also love how easy it is for my partner to drive, there are times I think he likes driving it more than I do. The best part of the interior is definitely the fold-down seats, just for the convenience of possibly having to sleep in it once in a while. As for the exterior, the headlights are extremely bright, so I feel more than comfortable with driving at night. And the shine of the ... (more)
Cons
There are only 2 real cons about the vehicle: 1. The MPG is much worse than I predicted. Even on the highway, I have trouble gaining more than 20 miles per gallon, no matter how far I drive. It may be a Jeep, but I still expected better from the gas tank. 2. Whenever I turned the car off, it will still take as long as 20 minutes before you actually stop hearing sound coming from under the hood. I've wondered if it could be a mechanical problem, but after taking it in to get it checked out, the shop couldn't tell me much.
