I've had this vehicle for almost two years now. So far, it's been a very dependable vehicle. Being an SUV, it's more roomy than my previous vehicle and much easier to get in and out of now that we're getting older - no more climbing in and out of a low car. I haven't had any major problems with it so far and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I would buy another one of these although I would probably opt for a newer one since they tend to get bigger as new models come out.
Story
I'm a couponer and a friend of mine always goes with me. We lower the back seats down, pop a cooler in the back to hold the frozen/refrigerated items and we're off to several different stores.
Pros
One of my favorite things about this vehicle is it's roomy. I'm a couponer and my friend and I usually go together. The back seats fold down completely flat and give us plenty of room for all of the groceries we pick up.
Cons
About the only negative things I can say about this vehicle is the radio. I want to replace the cd/tape deck with a more up to date one, but it's a 1.5 Dinn meaning that without a face plate, a standard radio will not fit in the spot. There are tons of single dinn and double dinn radios out there, but very few 1.5 Dinn.

My experience with Jeep models has always been excellent. Despite poor to average reviews in Consumer Reports, I have be been satisfied with all aspects of build, comfort, accessories, and appearance, The clearance on the vehicle is not as high as my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport so use on trail roads and pastures is not as easy, however it handles steep inclines and potholes easily. I was originally unhappy that it is not possible to turn off the radio (it is ALWAYS on). However, I have gotten used to hitting the mute button or, alternatively, keeping the sound turned completely down. Another feature that is different, but acceptable, is that there is not CD player. Music or other media must be loaded to a device, thumb-drive, or storage card to be played. All these points are minor compar... (more)
Story
I tried riding around in our pastures and steep mountain roads, making my neighbors curious about where I was going and why.
Pros
Ample storage compartments color off-road driving possibilities heated steering wheel many accessories available
Cons
Can't turn radio off side doors compartment not wide enough to hold maps no CD player

First the pros of the car. It is very easy to drive. The turning radius is very decent and the steering is effortless. It has plenty of room inside, but it's not so big that it is hard to park or maneuver. The backseats fold down to increase the storage space. Comes in handy if you do not want to take your fishing rods apart. The 4WD system is OUTSTANDING. I have the full time system, and have never had trouble with snow or mud. The interior materials feel well made and the seats are comfortable. On the road, the ride is smooth and quiet. Now, the cons. First, the performance of this car is subpar. I have the 3.7L V6, and it is woefully underpowered. Push the pedal to the floor and you will be met with a lag before you start to accelerate. Once the car starts to accelerate it is very... (more)
Story
Had the most snow in Kentucky in decades. While most cars could not even get out of the parking lot, I was driving all over the city and doing donuts without ever worrying about getting stuck.
Pros
Easy to drive Roomy interior High quality interior with comfortable seats Excellent off road performance Smooth and quiet ride
Cons
Sluggish engine Poor fuel economy Reliability issues
