I bought this car because I wanted to go off roading, and this is the car made for that. Even with all stock options, the Jeep Wrangler is ready to hit the mud. The 4 wheel drive works great in difficult conditions and keeps me safe. Driving a Wrangler is like being part of a community, where everyone is friendly and helpful to each other, and I feel like I got more than I bargained for. I love the 4 door option I went with, because I can't fit my friends in the back, and it makes it easy for things like grocery shopping as well.
Story
I live in the country so there are many roads to explore. I was feeling adventurous one day and passed an old logging trail up a mountain. I turned around, but it in 4 wheel drive, and went up the mountain no problem!
Pros
This Jeep can do what it was made for! Works very well in 4 wheel drive. Sound system sounds great as well, even when you have the top down. The Freedom Panels come out quickly and fit right in the trunk for impromptu sun on a nice day. It extremely reliable. There are a ton of different things you can do to personalize it to make it your own, like removing the top, doors, etc., Or getting addons for better wheeling, but even on it's own, it's ready to go!
Cons
I got the hard top when I bought it because I liked the look of it better, and was worried about the cold in the winter, but it is very heavy, making it difficult to take off with less than 3 people on nice days. Now that I have some experience with it, I am considering purchasing an after market "soft" top that is durable for the weather but easy to remove. Also, the gas mileage is low, around 15-17 miles per gallon, but no one buys a Jeep for the gas mileage anyway, so I knew what I was getting myself into.

I love my Jeep, it's sporty enough while still being a smooth ride. The handling is great and it's easy to drive. The style of the Jeep Wrangler is hard to beat. It's also very spacious (four door). However, soon after I got it, the brakes were squeaky. It's not great on gas mileage either unless you are on the highway and then it's mediocre.
Story
I went to a "local" Dave and Busters (about 25 minutes away) one night with my boyfriend and when we came back out, there was a blizzard going on! We had to drive all the way home in terrible conditions on the highway with everyone going about 10 mph. We made it home safely thanks to my Jeep and its 4WD!!
Pros
I love the look and feel of my Jeep. I have a soft top so in the summer I can ride with the top down. It's easy to park and maneuver. The tires are built to withstand a lot of wear and tear and I haven't had a problem yet with any of them (37,000 miles so far).
Cons
The brakes are squeaky at very random times and they always have been. As soon as I hit around 25,000-30,000 miles, I started to have some issues (busted cylinder head, check engine light kept coming on). Servicing is not cheap, especially at 30,000 miles. There have also been at least three recalls. But when you go and say you have a recall part on your car, they always tell you they have to order the part and it'll be a few weeks which makes fixing the problem a lot harder than it seems.

My Wrangler has the V6 Pentastar motor and the six-speed standard transmission. Towing package, heated seats, Alpine Audio System, Sahara edition wheels, and the three piece hardtop. Quality appears to be great, and Jeep included a lot of "hidden" finds like a Jeep climbing a hill on the lower right corner of the windshield that I think is really cool. Vinyl decals have stuck through the heat, cold, and pressure washes. The on board average fuel usage calculator is accurate. Performs really well, keeps up with my little turbo four cylinder with no problem. My biggest dislikes are that the tailgate is a swing out door rather than dropping down like a truck, and the rear window is not easily removed from the hardtop which makes the top heavier. Backseats are also really straight and pr... (more)
Story
I do a little hunting and fishing so some off-roading isn't uncommon. Also, we get a bit of snow, so that is always fun passing people and helping people get back on the road.
Pros
Only American made four wheel drive I could find with a manual transmission. This is the main reason I bought it. I like the dual solid axles. And though they do make for a pretty rough ride, I know they will last a very long time. I love the removable top and doors. I was really glad to see the four wheel drive shifter was manual and "on the fly". The heated seats are really nice, though I really didn't want to pay for them when I got it. It took some getting used to but I like the window controls in the middle of the vehicle. I like the ride height. I got the Alpine audio system and lov... (more)
Cons
Biggest negative is price, and my experience with my dealer still upsets me whenever I think about it... but these aren't really against the vehicle itself. The rear part of the top is bulky and heavy, and requires at least two people to reinstall. I have removed it by myself with only a little difficulty but do not recommend it. I wish I could remove the rear window without removing the top. I would like the tailgate to drop, rather than swing, but this probably isn't possible with the tire mount on the rear like it is. Some people would probably consider fuel consumption a con, but I thi... (more)
