This is one of my most favorite vehicles. Since the first day I saw it I fell in love with it and have loved it ever since. It looks like a Hummer and it is a well respected vehicle among automotive enthusiasts. Everyday I look forward to getting into my car to run about my daily life. It has never disappointed me for the 3 years that I have been driving it. There is a lot to love about this car. First of all, it is a four wheel SUV. The four wheel functions very well especially in snow or heavy rain. While you drive in these conditions you feel safe because you know you are less likely to get stuck. It is a heavier car and not easily swayed back and forth, it would hold up well in an accident too. It is also possible to switch the four wheel into two wheel drive when you need to, ther... (more)
Story
Driving in the snow the first winter I bought this vehicle was a delight. I was not scared to drive on ice as I would have been in my old car.
Pros
Good four wheel drive Can change to two wheel manually Handles well in rain and snow Does not consume a lot of gas Simple but at the same time looks expensive
Cons
Not very bright headlights Turning range not wide enough Handles poorly while turning

This is a great vehicle for every day use. It can handle all sorts of terrain and weather of any season. I feel safe when driving myself, friends, and family various distances and the ride is enjoyable. It's a bit outdated by now, but it does everything a reliable car should. As long as it is getting me from A to be, it is hard to ask for more than that.
Story
I once had to transport a box spring 50 miles with the car. It was a mess having to tie it to the top. My whole family was trying to secure it and my boyfriend had to follow me for the entire drive to make sure all was good. I remember turning up the radio as loud as I could to block the noise from the windows that were cracked due to the rope. It was a crazy trip but the car made it possible.
Pros
The four wheel drive is a great thing to have when snow is a concern for half of the year. The trunk is spacious and the back seats collapse, making it excellent for transporting a lot of boxes and furniture for a college student like myself who is always moving from place to place. The automatic windows are easy to reach and the sunroof is a great plus to have on those beautiful summer days.
Cons
I wish this was a little more up to date. With only a CD player rather than an AUX input or even a cassette player makes listening to an iPod or other device impossible. I also go through gas much more quickly than I have with past vehicles, but that is to be expected with a car of this size. It is not the smoothest ride I've ever had either, but I have adjusted.

2001 Jeep Liberty - It is unreliable.

I was drawn to the vehicle immediately, and while there are things about it that I love, there are things about it that I don't like so much as well. For one, it is unreliable. I have spent so much money on repairs for this car. It seems like something is always going wrong with it. There are definitely positive aspects to this vehicle. It is very roomy -- I can fit lots of large musical equipment into the back and my two young children's' car seats fit into the back. I hope that this car stays up and running now that I have made a few repairs, but if not, I think it will be time for a trade-in. Overall, this vehicle has some great points, but it is unreliable, and I would not recommend it.
Story
I have had great times driving my family and two kids in the backseat on our vacation.
Pros
The reason I was first drawn to the vehicle was because of its overall look. I liked the design, the color, and the interior. It was in great condition. Also, Jeep has a good reputation, so this was another reason I was highly interested in purchasing this vehicle. I love having a Jeep because I am able to fit a lot into the vehicle. I am a musician, and I am always hauling large, heavy equipment into my car. This vehicle is perfect for that. My entire drum set and large speakers are able to fit in the back with the seats down. I also have two kids, and the car seats fit comfortabl... (more)
Cons
This car was a problem from the minute we took it home. After having owned it for less than three days, something broke. The air compressor went out, and the belt inside had been worn down and snapped because of this while driving the car. It sat on the side of the road until I could figure out towing and so on. Then, I spent even more money getting the actual issue fixed. The belt and air compressor (which I bought used) cost several hundred to repair. No less than a few weeks later, the check engine light came on. and it is now in the shop again. I am scared to hear how much it's g... (more)
