Fun, but not very practical
Overall, I really like my 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport. It's attractive and rugged without screaming redneck, and definitely not a typical soccer mom buggy which is a major plus. It has a smooth ride, comfortable cabin, attractive interior. It's easy to get serviced and the parts aren't super expensive. It's fun to drive, and handles well in the snow.
The thing is, though, the gas mileage is bad. For this type of mileage, there are SUVs out there that have much bigger cargo space. This is a niche Jeep that stands out mainly because of looks, but nowhere else.

Reliable SUV
I leased the 2003 Jeep Liberty in silver for high school. Upon graduating high school, my mother drove the car for four years while I was in college. I have since had the car for six years. It has been a great car in all sorts of weather. Snow, sleet, rain, etc. the car is excellent. It has performed quite well as an SUV. It had a great sunroof and comfortable seats. There are some issues with the car however, which I will discuss below.

Surprisingly reliable
I initially leased my Jeep Liberty and was so happy with it after three years that I decided to purchase it. I have now had my Jeep Liberty for over 10 years and I have to say I never anticipated keeping the car that long. But it has been surprisingly reliable and long-lasting. It is the perfect size for me, it's easy to parallel park and it is an extremely comfortable ride. It now has over 123,000 miles.
