This is one of my most favorite vehicles. Since the first day I saw it I fell in love with it and have loved it ever since. It looks like a Hummer and it is a well respected vehicle among automotive enthusiasts. Everyday I look forward to getting into my car to run about my daily life. It has never disappointed me for the 3 years that I have been driving it. There is a lot to love about this car. First of all, it is a four wheel SUV. The four wheel functions very well especially in snow or heavy rain. While you drive in these conditions you feel safe because you know you are less likely to get stuck. It is a heavier car and not easily swayed back and forth, it would hold up well in an accident too. It is also possible to switch the four wheel into two wheel drive when you need to, ther... (more)
Story
Driving in the snow the first winter I bought this vehicle was a delight. I was not scared to drive on ice as I would have been in my old car.
Pros
Good four wheel drive Can change to two wheel manually Handles well in rain and snow Does not consume a lot of gas Simple but at the same time looks expensive
Cons
Not very bright headlights Turning range not wide enough Handles poorly while turning

This is a great vehicle for every day use. It can handle all sorts of terrain and weather of any season. I feel safe when driving myself, friends, and family various distances and the ride is enjoyable. It's a bit outdated by now, but it does everything a reliable car should. As long as it is getting me from A to be, it is hard to ask for more than that.
Story
I once had to transport a box spring 50 miles with the car. It was a mess having to tie it to the top. My whole family was trying to secure it and my boyfriend had to follow me for the entire drive to make sure all was good. I remember turning up the radio as loud as I could to block the noise from the windows that were cracked due to the rope. It was a crazy trip but the car made it possible.
Pros
The four wheel drive is a great thing to have when snow is a concern for half of the year. The trunk is spacious and the back seats collapse, making it excellent for transporting a lot of boxes and furniture for a college student like myself who is always moving from place to place. The automatic windows are easy to reach and the sunroof is a great plus to have on those beautiful summer days.
Cons
I wish this was a little more up to date. With only a CD player rather than an AUX input or even a cassette player makes listening to an iPod or other device impossible. I also go through gas much more quickly than I have with past vehicles, but that is to be expected with a car of this size. It is not the smoothest ride I've ever had either, but I have adjusted.

I love the color, the performance. I love to use it to haul my art supplies and to pick up multiple kids. It is really great for off roading. I live in high altitude in the mountains of Washington state, and I need a vehicle that can run in any weather. Rain or snow, mud or sand. And this vehicle is always reliable. I love the angularity of its exterior. It feels modern and new. I love that. It is comfy and easy to drive. It sits high off of the ground which is a big bonus. I really like how that feels. It has an amazing sound system that came standard. I love to drive around listening to music. It has great leg room, which is important to me, as I am quite tall. It is a good quality vehicle and I would purchase it again. Upkeep has been very minimal. This vehicle is a joy to drive.
Story
Where to start....camping, fishing and fun with the whole family . Memories are always memorable in this nicely put together vehicle. Take her up into the mountains and see what she can do!
Pros
I love the roominess most of all. I always have room to haul all of my kids, art supplies, my grandmother is in a wheelchair, and I have never had any difficulty transporting her in this great vehicle. This vehicle really performed. When I've needed it the 4 wheel drive has been a godsend. Fuel economy is unsurpassed. I get about 25 mpg hwy which is great for a vehicle of this large a size. I have recommended this vehicle before. It is the height of comfort and perfect for my little family. It is practical and easy to find replacement parts. My jeep dealer has been a constant source of rel... (more)
Cons
The liberty unfortunately is made of cost-cutting construction quite like hard, cheap plastic. It also has some sloppy driving issues in the dynamics. The suspension is somewhat loose and it was scary to later learn that the liberty has had issues with rollovers in the past. I also do not really enjoy the 'nose dive' this vehicle takes when you need to occasionally hit the brakes hard. I needed to replace the window regulator really soon after purchase, which cost me about $400 bucks. I learned later that this was a defective part. So look into that before making a purchase on this model.
