I really love my Jeep - I've had it for at least four years now, and I'm pretty impressed that it's still working smoothly and reliably. I commute for almost two hours each way on a daily basis, and I've never had an issue with the car during my commute. I previously owned a smaller Volkswagen sedan and I definitely prefer this car as it it's high up and I can see past most of the larger cars and trucks during my commute. I also like the style of the car; my Jeep is silver and has no dents or scratches on the body. It still has the original tire sleeve (and tire - I've never punctured a tire or gotten a flat). I have over 150,000 miles at this point, and once I need to get a replacement I'll probably opt for another Jeep. I purchased this Liberty for about $8,000, so I feel as th... (more)
Story
My friends and I took a trip to the Bonnaroo Music Festival (in TN) using the Jeep, and it was really fun. It did really well storing all of our camping gear and navigating the muddy parking lot.
Pros
There are lots of things I love about this Jeep Liberty. It's very spacious and can fit all of my family as well as tons of stuff in the trunk. I've used it to move in and out of college, travel cross-country, and move from apartment to apartment. I also love that it's powerful and can maneuver terrain easily. I come from the snowy Northeast/New England region, and there have been many times I've needed to use the four-wheel drive to get myself unstuck on ice or mud. I also love the interior and features of my car. The seats are leather, which is critical to me, and I have a sun roof ... (more)
Cons
The biggest cons by far are the gas mileage and the fact that my A/C is broken. As I mentioned, my commute is two hours each way and it usually takes about half a tank of gas per day to get me from work to home. It's a big tank, and I usually have to fill up once every other day so it ends up being extremely costly. This also means that I get services more frequently which are also very costly. My car does not break down but it does cost me anywhere from $200-700 per service. In addition, my air conditioning in the car no longer works and the quote to fix it was extremely expensive. ... The Jeep Liberty has been one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have had the car for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. From the inside out the car is great. I love the black interior of the car, though it does get really hot in the summer. But that is why I love having a great AC in the car. Even with over 40,000 miles on the car is still runs smoothly. There really is not a lot of thinks that I dislike about the car. The car runs great and it has plenty of room for me when I drive. One of my only dislike would be the amount of room for people in the back. There sometimes is not a lot of leg room for my taller friends. I have not had any issues with the car until recently. I had to get something fix on the car but it was nothing major. The stereo system is wonderful! I love... (more)
Story
Going on mini adventures with my friends. We are always trying to find new places to go around town. And we usually use my car. It would go to different shops or restaurants around town. Those are the best times, just driving around with my friends.
Pros
The top thing I love about this car is that it still looks brand new. After three years it is still in great condition. It runs great. There is not rattling, no weird shaking of the car while I drive. From the inside out the car is great. One of my favorite features of the car would be the radio. I listen to music all the time and the system is wonderful. I have clear, crisp, local music. And even when I play CDs or use an aux cord the quality of sound is perfect. The seats in the car are extremely comfortable. They are soft and do not hurt seating in even after a long car ride. The car ov... (more)
Cons
There are really not too many negative things I can say about the car. Only a few negative things come to mind and they are really not that major. One would be the space in the back seat. There is not a whole lot of room for people to sit, especially if I have three people back there. Even though I like to go driving around with my friends, it is not great for taking long road trips with a full car. A few people in the car is find we have enough room. But I have had some friends say that the back seat can be a little cramped. I sometimes wished that the car would have more miles to the gal... (more)

I wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and not buy this car. I bought the car new and have had it for about nine years now. The interior features of the car began to either fall apart or deteriorate within the first year. For example, the interior handle on the backseat fell off in the first year along with other interior cosmetic issues cropping up. Overall, the interior is just poor quality.
Story
I put my small kids bikes in the back and take them to the lake to go bike riding.
Pros
It gets you from Point A to Point B. It gets decent gas mileage for a SUV, averaging 15-21. It has a nice appearance on the outside. The shape is good, not too boxy and not to rounded, and looks sporty.
Cons
The A/C compressor has been replaced THREE times and now needs to be replaced again. This is an expensive issue to fix each time. We have replaced our battery at least six times as well, leading me to believe that the engine components are also very low-quality. The Jeep is small on the inside for an SUV and the trunk space has less room than my mid-size car unless you pile everything on top of each other. This is not a good car if you have children, as children are not easy on cars and this one requires you to be very careful with it or it will literally fall apart. It has had two recalls... (more)
